The most recent iterations of the iOS and Android apps for WhatsApp and Instagram<\/a> are now offering a test of Meta’s plan to integrate the Meta AI chatbot. Users who have specified English as their WhatsApp language are presently the only ones able to access the limited Meta AI chatbot test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whatsapp Testing Meta AI Chatbot: Currently Only For English Users<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The test is now accessible to a restricted amount of individuals, although it has gone live in a few nations, including India. For some users, Meta AI is integrated into the search bar; for others, there is a new Meta AI icon located in the upper right corner of the app interface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By tapping the search box that is offered by Meta AI, users can communicate with the chatbot by posing questions to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the chatbot accepts user-submitted queries, it generates prompt suggestions at random.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As conversations are end-to-end encrypted, the Meta AI chatbot is not currently implemented in chats within WhatsApp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s unclear if WhatsApp will eventually incorporate the chatbot even further into user conversations, as Skype has done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The trend of incorporating AI technology into different apps and services is being followed by WhatsApp’s deployment of AI chatbots. With the help of the Meta AI chatbot, WhatsApp’s functionality has been improved and users may now access new features and functionalities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WhatsApp recently introduced a new pricing category for international one-time passwords (OTPs), signaling a shift in its revenue strategy towards enterprise services. This move comes amidst a growing market for enterprise messaging, which includes SMS, WhatsApp Business, Google RCS, and push notifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite a substantial price hike for international OTPs, WhatsApp\u2019s rates remain half of traditional SMS costs, aiming to attract more businesses to its platform. Effective from June 1, the new pricing category for \u201cauthentication-international\u201d messages will be INR 2.3 per message in India and Indonesia.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
