As per the recent announced revisions by the State Bank of India (SBI) regarding the annual maintenance charges<\/a> for certain debit cards, the effective date shall be April 1, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"SBI<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

These changes were aimed to streamline the fee structure as well as to ensure the service quality for cardholders. Below are key highlights of the revised charges:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Classic debit cards<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Up from the previous Rs. 125\/- plus GST, the annual maintenance charges for the Classic, Silver, Global as well as Contactless Debit Cards shall be increased to Rs. 200\/- plus GST.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yuva and other cards<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For other debit cards which include Yuva, Gold, Combo Debit Card, and My Card (Image Card), as compared to earlier Rs. 175\/- plus GST, the annual maintenance fee shall rise to Rs. 250\/- plus GST.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Platinum debit card<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From earlier Rs. 250\/- plus GST, the holders of SBI Platinum debit cards shall see their annual maintenance charges go upto Rs. 325\/- plus GST.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Premium Business debit card<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Premium business debit cards such as Pride Premium Business Debit Card\u2019s annual maintenance charges will be increased to Rs. 425\/- plus GST, up from Rs. 350\/- plus GST.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SBI Card changes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From April 1, 2024, there shall be no reward points on rent payments for certain SBI credit cards. In addition to this, reward points earned from rent payments for some of the cards shall expire on April 15, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
