With the hunt and race for AI, every organization wants the best for itself and outdo its competition. Billions are being spent by corporates when it comes to acquiring smaller startups or for that matter aggressively hiring new talent in order to move forward on their AI journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those who are already working in AI at top AI firms are making jumps as the opportunities just get bigger and better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These \u201cAI scientists\u201d are earning millions and top companies are looking for more such people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meta’s Battle for Expertise in the Face of Rising Competition<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the industry holds its arms wide open for such folks by offering them more and more \u201cmoolah\u201d, these researchers are flocking and is the reason why Meta is losing top AI talent to other AI firms like OpenAI, Deepmind, and Mistral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As per the reports, OpenAI pays their AI researchers up to $10 million a year<\/a>. Additionally, the recruiters at OpenAI are offering additional stock benefits in millions of dollars to the employees of rival firms, especially to those researchers at Google who\u2019d been earning up to $5 million annually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the contrary, Meta, with no so deep pockets as its rivals, is paying AI scientists a salary of up to $2.5 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Noting this, the top Meta guy, Zuckerberg himself is personally reaching out to the scientists at Google\u2019s Deepmind unit in order to join Meta\u2019s efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is even ready to hire them without an interview and also make changes to the negotiation policies to retain the researchers with higher salary offers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
