Companies are setting higher standards for qualifications, making the selection process for IT jobs more challenging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since employers now expect even entry-level workers to interact with clients, communication skills have become essential for these workers. Indian IT companies are increasingly interviewing candidates with questions akin to those posed by international behemoths like Amazon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Employers are emphasizing skill-based hiring, and having expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) is especially valued. Data science, machine learning, big data, cyber-security, full stack, and DevOps are additional highly sought-after skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Demands of The Industry<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By matching the demands of the industry with their training programs and course curricula, educational institutions are responding to these changes. A comprehensive strategy involving universities, businesses, the government, and the ed-tech ecosystem can close the employability-skills gap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, Amity Education Group has alumni and industry experts advising the college on course offerings. For the past five years, Amity has incorporated machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) into its curriculum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Online short-term courses are being added to the curricula of Indian students. Every industry is predicted to be disrupted by artificial intelligence (AI), which will also raise the need for talent.
