On 12 February, Chinese technology giant, Xiaomi unveiled its Redmi Buds 5<\/a> wireless earbuds in India.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The house of Xiaomi TWS falls into the affordable segment sporting 12.4mm dynamic drivers with hybrid noise cancellation, and up to 38 hours battery life with fast charging support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interestingly, all these features are offered at a price lower than Rs 3,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Redmi Buds 5 earbuds<\/a> other feature includes 46dB \u201chybrid noise cancellation\u201d which the company claims to block out 99.5 percent of background noise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They have inserted 12.4mm dynamic titanium drivers inside these buds, hence promising \u201cexceptional sound quality across all frequencies.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides this, it comes with dual mic setup and AI voice enhancement further ensuring \u201cunmatchable call quality even in windy conditions\u201d, according to Xiaomi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These earbuds have a companion Xiaomi Earbuds App.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further, they support three transparency modes, a choice of deep, balanced, and light noise cancellation, and standard, enhanced treble, enhanced bass, and enhanced voice audio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to this, Redmi Buds 5 earbuds come with features like dual-device pairing and find your earphones, another value addition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When it comes to the battery life, these buds promised to deliver up to 38 hours of battery life with the case while fast charging allows for up to 2 hours of playtime with only 5 minutes of charging, Xiaomi confirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For pricing, the Redmi Buds 5 earbuds are priced at Rs 2,999 in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It will be available for purchase across Mi.com, Amazon, Flipkart, Mi Homes and Xiaomi retail partners from Feb 20, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are anticipated to be offered at Rs 2,499 (Rs 500 discount) with the purchase of the Redmi Note 13 series or Xiaomi and Redmi Pad for a limited period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
