Emissions and vehicle safety also remain unaffected for the over 33K units recalled globally. But dispatches are on hold pending reconfirmation of data by authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>No Change to Performance or Safety<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The automaker reassured existing owners in India that real-world usage and dynamics are unaltered in their vehicles. It apologized for the inconvenience but reiterated no changes in advertised power, torque etc or safety and emissions. However, order fulfilment is stalled after more stringent internal testing unearthed unwarranted deviations in initial submission data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In India, findings impede supply of three strong-selling Toyota models that cumulatively account for almost a third of its volumes.
