Who Will Give This Money?\" class=\"wp-image-1278002\" srcset=\"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/ify-20-1-2.png 1000w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/ify-20-1-2-300x140.png 300w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/ify-20-1-2-768x357.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A fund of 339 Crores Announced by Dubai&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a recent announcement, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.siasat.com\/dubai-ruler-pledges-rs-3-39-crore-to-support-content-creators-2954152\/?utm_campaign=fullarticle&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_source=inshorts\">announced<\/a> a fund of 150 million dirham (Rs 3,39,27,04,024) to support content creators and influencers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A permanent headquarters for the same has also been announced for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was on the Wednesday, January 10 that the announcement was made during the 1 Billion Followers Summit, organized by the New Media Academy in Dubai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The 1 Billion Followers Summit<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sheikh Mohammed wrote on X that \u201cThe UAE today hosted 3,000 content creators with more than 1.8 billion followers from 95 countries around the world in one of the largest global gatherings of content creator\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He added that \u201cWe welcome them in the UAE, and tell them that content creation is a responsibility, a science, and the future of media. Today, we announce a fund of Dhs150 million dedicated to support content creators and establishment of a permanent headquarters for them to develop their skills and capabilities to take them to global levels\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The reason as to why the content creator and influencer economy is seeing the boom is because online audiences are consuming more content.
