According to Harpreet Singh Saluja, President of NITES, the company has resorted to threats of disciplinary actions against non-compliance with the transfer directions. Furthermore, TCS is accused of unethically withholding the salaries of employees opposing these forced transfers. NITES strongly denounces these tactics, asserting that TCS is coercing employees to either accept the forced transfers or resign from their positions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ministry of Labour and Employment Urged to Investigate<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>NITES has called upon the Ministry of Labour and Employment to investigate TCS&#8217;s actions and take necessary measures to safeguard the rights of IT workers. This move comes after the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Maharashtra, took note of onboarding delays in October and issued a notice to TCS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a previous instance, NITES had sought the intervention of the Ministry of Labour and Employment regarding onboarding delays and filed a complaint. The organization stood on behalf of over 2,000 lateral recruits affected by unexpected delays in their onboarding process at TCS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Krithivasan Addresses Employees Amid Developments<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Amid these developments, K Krithivasan, CEO and MD of TCS, shared a message with employees. In his communication, he acknowledged 2023 as the year when Generative AI went mainstream and highlighted that the technology revolution is still in its early stages.
