It will become mandatory very shortly,&#8221; in an email from vertical heads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further, the technology major has expressed their unhappiness for the slow response to their repeated return-to-work requests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the company, \u201cThe three years of work-from-home arrangements following the COVID-19 outbreak had been sufficient.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adding, \u201cnow employees must begin reporting to work, with the exception of medical emergencies.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although, &#8220;The company has offered to consider requests from employees who have health-related issues on a case-by-case basis,&#8221; said the sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wipro &amp; TCS Following Suit<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other IT companies such as Wipro have also warned its employees of &#8220;consequences&#8221; for repeated violations of its hybrid work policy in which they will have to show up to work three days a week.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to this warning by Wipro, an action will be taken on January 7, this could result in the denial or withholding of some benefits, sources confirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a statement, Wipro spokeswoman stated that they would use a mixed work strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>India&#8217;s largest software services provider, Wipro spokeswoman(TCS) is not much behind as it has already returned to normal office hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further, Infosys mentioned the resumed charging for bus services on January 3rd, with a daily price of Rs 150 and a monthly ceiling of Rs 1,500, in a subsequent email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;\u201cThe health club facilities too would invite a charge of Rs 100 per day with a monthly cap of Rs 700, effective January 1,\u201dmentioned in the email.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Earlier, the media has reported that, Indian IT giant, Infosy, has called on workers to work from home for at least three days a week as the company wants to make it mandatory soon.
