The health implications are severe enough that four in 10 residents in Delhi and Mumbai seek medical attention for air pollution-related health issues annually or every few years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Addressing Air Pollution Concerns: Lifestyle Adjustments, Air Purifier Usage, and Misconceptions Among Delhi and Mumbai Residents<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In terms of lifestyle adjustments, the survey indicates that 35 percent of respondents have curtailed outdoor activities, including exercise and running, to mitigate the effects of air pollution. Additionally, 30 percent have adopted the practice of wearing masks outdoors as a preventive measure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Notably, the use of air purifiers appears to be less prevalent, with only 27 percent of respondents in Delhi and Mumbai acknowledging their use. Surprisingly, the survey reveals that 43 percent of participants harbor the misconception that air purifiers may reduce immunity.
