We have witnessed the platforms like OpenAI\u2019s ChatGPT, Google Bard, and Meta Llama 2 maturing In 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not only that, but generative AI has also permeated the mainstream, reaching consumer-grade products such as the Google Pixel 8 series. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

X Launching Its Own Chatbot Grok<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, X which is formerly known as Twitter, has launched<\/a> the artificial intelligence division, xAI, its own generative AI chatbot called Grok<\/a>, based on Grok-1, X\u2019s proprietary LLM developed over the last four months. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In comparison to the most popular chatbots, such as Google Bard and ChatGPT, Grok features several differences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Giving more information on the same, X said, \u201cGrok is based on \u2018Hitchhiker\u2019s Guide to the Galaxy,\u2019 intended to answer almost anything and, more challenging, even suggest what questions to ask!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The application has a striking difference as Grok answers users\u2019 queries with wit and humor, possessing a \u201crebellious streak,\u201d as per X. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides this the company claims that Grok will tackle \u201cspicy questions\u201d that other models tend to avoid. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So far, we\u2019re not entirely certain about what X means by \u201cspicy,\u201d .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The response could also be interpreted as attempting to answer more controversial questions compared to models like GPT-4 or Google PaLM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the case of Grok, it can also go through X (Twitter) and access real-time knowledge on the platform to respond accordingly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n


Grok Providing Powerful Research Assistance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is noteworthy here that this upcoming chatbot from X is currently in an early beta stage and is not yet a final product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

X said, \u201cWe want Grok to serve as a powerful research assistant for anyone, aiding in quick access to relevant information, data processing, and generating new ideas,\u201d in a note. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to this, the social media company aims to create AI tools useful for individuals of all backgrounds and political views.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are curious and want to access the chatbot, there\u2019s currently a waitlist, and is only available for X Premium\/verified users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
