Zomato Limited for supply and delivery of pre-ordered meals through IRCTC\u2019s E-catering portal as a Proof of Concept (PoC) in the first phase at five Railway stations i.e. New Delhi, Prayagraj, Kanpur, Lucknow &amp; Varanasi,\u201d it said in an exchange filing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Depending on its success and passenger feedback, there may be plans to expand to more railway stations in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Food choices and convenience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a statement, this strategic alliance is set to provide rail passengers with more choices and convenience when it comes to their culinary preferences, making their travel experience more enjoyable and comfortable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Passengers traveling through these stations can order and receive pre-ordered meals via the IRCTC E-Catering portal with the assistance of Zomato.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How it works<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Passengers can access this service by using the IRCTC E-Catering portal, where they can place orders for their preferred meals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They can check the prices and charges while placing their orders through the portal<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zomato will deliver these pre-ordered meals at the designated railway stations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Passenger benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this specific collaboration, passengers benefit from increased convenience and a wider range of food choices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They can order meals as per their preferences and dietary requirements, thereby making their travel experience more enjoyable and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gadgetsnow.com\/faqs\/irctc-partners-with-zomato-benefits-to-rail-passengers-how-to-access-the-service-and-more\/articleshow\/104551638.cms\">comfortable<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Navratri offers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ahead of the festive season, it is also offering special services and offers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IRCTC&#8217;s catering arm announced special Navratri thalis catered to specific dietary needs of fasting passengers during the Navratri festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cTravelling while fasting for<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Navratri?src=hashtag_click\"> <\/a>#Navratri?
