This accomplishment positions Dabur as the pioneer<\/a> of Cloud-Only Enterprises within India’s Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. The primary objective of this strategic move is to fortify Dabur’s business resilience and bolster its command over IT operations. Furthermore, it seeks to elevate the quality of services provided to retailers, partners, employees, and consumers. Embracing a cloud-only model empowers Dabur with all-encompassing supervision of its operations, resulting in heightened efficiency, transparency, and agility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kaustubh Dabral, Global Chief Information Officer of Dabur India Limited, explained, “Utilizing cloud technology, artificial intelligence, and our robust data foundation will evolve Dabur into an Intelligent, Sustainable Enterprise. This transformation will enable us to innovate more rapidly, offer superior customer experiences, and align with our commitment to reduce carbon emissions and achieve Net Zero by 2045.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This digital transformation empowers Dabur to access real-time data insights. The 10-month cloud migration project, carried out in collaboration with industry leaders like SAP and Microsoft, saw Accenture as the implementation partner and Thoucentric, under Xoriant, overseeing Program Management and Governance. Microsoft Azure serves as the primary cloud platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enhancing Agility and Technology Adoption in the Consumer Goods Industry: Dabur’s Digital Transformation Journey<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shailendra Kumar Srivastav, Head of IT at Dabur International, emphasized the importance of agility and adaptability in the consumer goods industry, especially in managing supply chains, addressing economic fluctuations, and meeting evolving customer demands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dabur has shifted all its computer programs from its own data center to online platforms like Microsoft Azure and SAP RISE. Non-SAP programs are hosted on Azure, while SAP programs are on RISE. This transition positions Dabur as the first major Indian consumer goods company to leverage advanced technologies, such as Open AI, to modernize its digital systems. The adoption of RISE with SAP equips Dabur with a comprehensive suite of business management software and industry best practices to drive better outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
