It is currently live in Bengaluru but there are plans to eventually expand across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The courier service aims to electrify logistic services in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disrupting India\u2019s logistics ecosystem<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

An Ola spokesperson said <\/a>electric two-wheelers will disrupt the logistics ecosystem in India and Ola\u2019s on-demand delivery service will bring in a \u201cparadigm shift\u201d in the intra-city logistics industry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOwing to its robust network of services spanning across ride-hailing, digital commerce, logistics and EV manufacturing capabilities, Ola is uniquely placed to bring in this transformation at speed and scale,\u201d the statement said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are very confident that this collaboration between Ola and Ola Electric will revolutionise the 2W logistics ecosystem in India.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Affordability<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It will serve as a highly affordable and accessible delivery solution for all, the startup said in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It will be available at different price ranges \u2013 INR 25 for 5 Km, INR 50 for 10 km, INR 75 for 15 km, and INR 100 for 20 km.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The service is aimed at competing with Swiggy Genie, Dunzo\u2019s, Porter and Uber connect\u2019s services which are also delivering intra-city parcels at all major cities in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Electric bike taxi service<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On similar lines Ola also provides bike taxi services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It uses electric two wheelers which it uses to offer ebike services in Bengaluru<\/a>, a city it has returned to recently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The price of bike taxis was set as \u20b925 for 5 kilometers and \u20b950 for 10 kilometers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c \u20b925 for 5km, \u20b950 for 10km. Lowest cost, very comfortable and great for the environment! Will scale across India over next few months,\u201d said Bhavish Aggarwal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ola currently claims to have operations in 200 cities with over 1 Mn drivers on the platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
