With hardly 5 months of EV Nexon ownership, my EV started flashing Hv system fault and came to a complete halt with only 16% charge left. It may be a software glitch, but I\u2019m not happy with the delayed towing service. The entire day, I had to deal with this issue only. I hope Tata won\u2019t disappoint in addressing this service issue.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This incident happened when the owner took the car through a waterlogged section, and the issue on the instrument cluster came up after that.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interestingly, the owner is not worried about the issue or the warning on the instrument cluster, but he is upset about the fact that the Tata dealership or service center was not quick enough to respond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;He said that the warning sign on the instrument cluster only appeared after he drove the car through the water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the unaware, Tata Nexon EV Prime and Nexon EV Max both come with water and dust-resistant battery packs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This simply means that the batteries are neatly tucked under the floor of the car.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As expected, there are a lot of wires under the body, and some of them carry high voltage current from the batteries to the electric motor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;So experts assume that there is a possibility that the water might have caused some issues in this system, and that\u2019s why the warning popped up.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In response to this post, the comment section of this post\u00a0 is filled with mixed reactions about the car and the service center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cartoq.com\/5-month-old-tata-nexon-ev-gets-high-voltage-alert-suv-breaks-down-with-16-charge-left-video\/\">Image Source<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When it comes to Tata Nexon, it is currently the most popular electric SUV in the Indian market.&nbsp; Recently, the vehicle manufacturer has launched the updated facelifts of both the Nexon and Nexon EV in the Indian market.
