Prime Minister Narendra Modi is once again at the top position of an approval ratings list of global leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Approval Rating Tracker<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Morning Consult, a decision intelligence company released the \u2018Global Leader Approval Rating Tracker\u2019 on September 14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It puts out weekly approval ratings of world leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It said its latest approval ratings are based on data collected from September 6 to 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ratings are based on a seven-day moving average of adult residents in each country, with varying sample<\/a> sizes.
Top 3
Modi has secured 76 per cent of people’s approval of his leadership, while 18 per cent disapprove and six per cent did not give any opinion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is followed by Swiss President Alain Berset in second position with 64 percent approval rating and Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador in third position with an approval rating of 61 per cent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

US and UK<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

US President Joe Biden retained the seventh position with an unchanged 40 percent approval rating, while UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak dropped from the 12th position to 15th with 27 percent rating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

France President Emmanuel Macron won just 24 per cent approval rating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notably, all these leaders came to India to attend the recently concluded G20 Summit held in New Delhi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Modi had held bilateral talks with Biden, Macron, Sunak at the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

G20 impact<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Modi was at the top position even back in February when it released its approval ratings at 78 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The grand G20 Leaders Summit in New Delhi which was held on September 9 and 10 certainly helped boost his image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The list comprises rankings of leaders from 22 countries, of which a majority are G20 members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Delhi Declaration<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the Leaders’ Summit, the New Delhi Declaration was unanimously adopted with full consensus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All nations were brought on a single page and a consensus was built on the issue of Russia-Ukraine war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I have received good news. Due to the hard work of our team, consensus has been built on New Delhi G20 Leaders’ Summit Declaration,” Modi had said on Saturday (September 9) while making the announcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brazil to play host next<\/strong>
At the conclusion of the summit, PM Modi handed over the G20 presidential gavel to the Brazilian president whose country will host the summit next.

BJP biggies react<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke of the honour and said it is \u201cnot only a testament to the success of the Modi doctrine in foreign policy but also a global recognition of Modi Ji’s undeterred achievements in lifting millions out of poverty, selfless efforts to improve their living standards and people’s unyielding trust in him.”
BJP national president JP Nadda hailed PM Modi’s leadership and said that the survey reflects his “stupendous successes in foreign policy”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis survey reflects PM Modi Ji’s stupendous successes in foreign policy, social welfare, and making our country a global power,” Nadda posted on X.
