{"id":1273357,"date":"2023-09-15T13:03:15","date_gmt":"2023-09-15T07:33:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/?p=1273357"},"modified":"2023-09-15T13:03:51","modified_gmt":"2023-09-15T07:33:51","slug":"honda-india-will-launch-4-new-suvs-honda-elevate-electric-suv-is-a-big-possibility","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/honda-india-will-launch-4-new-suvs-honda-elevate-electric-suv-is-a-big-possibility\/","title":{"rendered":"Honda India Will Launch 4 New SUVs: Honda Elevate Electric SUV Is A Big Possibility!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Recently, the Japanese automobile company, Honda launched <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hondacarindia.com\/honda-elevate\">Elevate<\/a> in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs. 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Start Of A New Era Of SUVs With The Launch Of Elevate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"465\" src=\"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Untitled-design-69.png\" alt=\"Honda India Will Launch 4 New SUVs: Honda Elevate Electric SUV Is A Big Possibility!\" class=\"wp-image-1273434\" srcset=\"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Untitled-design-69.png 1000w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Untitled-design-69-300x140.png 300w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Untitled-design-69-768x357.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This seems to be the Japanese carmaker\u2019s attempt to take on the highly competitive mid-size SUV segment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides Elevate, Honda is selling the Amaze and City in the country presently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It won&#8217;t be an exaggeration to say that these sedans were the bread and butter for the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But now, the launch of Elevate is said to be followed by the introduction of four more SUVs in a phased manner by the end of year 2030 as a part of the new SUV-centric plan.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second SUV to debut in the domestic market will be none other than the electrified version of the Elevate, said Honda\u2019s top officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the remaining ones and their launch timeline is set for&nbsp; the next 3 years as per the target set by the company.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4 New SUVs To Look Forward<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the launch of the Elevate, the brand is expecting to pull some good sales volumes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This will also help in re-establishing its position in the market in addition to gaining the trust of the customers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides, it will also set the right pace for the launch of Honda\u2019s first EV in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So far, the carmaker is tight-lipped about the remaining three SUVs which are a part of the plan.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The speculations are circling in the market that a new sub-4-meter SUV is also on the cards, which will be a replacement for the now-discontinued W-RV.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whatever be the case, it is safe to say that SUVs will be the prime area of focus for Honda, as it has acquired a significant market share and it is expected to increase further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Coming to the newly launched Elevate, it is priced in the range of Rs. 10.99 lakh to Rs. 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This mid-size SUV is designed to take on the likes of well-established players including the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder amongst others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under The Hood lies the familiar 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine, mated to the option of a manual as well as a CVT automatic gearbox, which is a straight lift-off from the City in the same state of tune.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is equipped with advanced Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) &#8211; A legendary transmission that delivers a drive that\u2019s both smooth and delightful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This SUV comes with Honda SENSING, which is an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) designed to assist you to achieve safe driving.
