Tata Motors has introduced the facelifted version of the Nexon on September 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bookings will begin <\/a>on September 4, while official launch will take place on September 14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"New<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Variants<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It will be offered in 11 variants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These include <\/a>Smart, Smart+, Smart+ (S), Pure+, Pure+ (S), Creative, Creative+, Creative+ (S), Fearless, Fearless+, and Fearless+ (S).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u2018+\u2019 denotes optional packages bundled with several features, while (S) refers to trims with a sunroof.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are also various color options such as Fearless Purple, Creative Ocean, Pristine White, Pure Grey, Daytona Grey, and Flame Red.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Facelift<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The facelift brings changes to the overall design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The front is inspired by the Tata Curvv and looks a lot more modern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It gets a sleeker <\/a>and sharper grille with a fresh set of LED DRLs along with a new split headlamp and bumper designs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a new accent line and new alloy wheels which continue to be 16-inches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ground clearance remains the same at 208mm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the back the carmaker has introduced connected LED tail lights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interior<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There have been some changes to the interior. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Features include a new 10.25-inch floating infotainment screen with a 10.25-inch fully digital driver\u2019s display, Land Rover-inspired gear lever, ventilated front seats, and a new two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The AC vents are now slimmer <\/a>and more angular, and the dashboard has fewer physical buttons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Safety<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Safety features include six airbags as standard, ESC, three-point seat belts for all seats, ISOFIX as well as emergency and breakdown call assist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also included are front parking sensors, and a blind-view monitor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Powertrain<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The powertrain remains the same. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It continues to be offered with a 120hp, 170Nm, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that now comes with a choice of four gearboxes \u2013 a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed AMT and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (with paddle shifters).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 115hp, 260Nm, 1.5-litre diesel unit continues to be paired with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed AMT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It gets a new seven-speed DCT gearbox with paddle shifters and is solely offered with the turbo-petrol mill. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Price, competition<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prices will be announced on September 14, and it is expected to be priced between Rs 8 lakh-15 lakh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Competition includes the Mahindra XUV300, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
