Recently, we interacted with Mr. Pawan Kumar, co-founder & CEO of ShipEase<\/a><\/em><\/strong> – one of the fastest-growing SaaS-enabled logistics company in India. In very short span of time, ShipEase has grown from an apartment to a Gurgaon headquarters and hundreds of thousands of square feet of warehouse space across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q. 1. Can you describe the development of ShipEase from its founding in 2020 to its current status as one of the nation’s fastest-growing SaaS-enabled logistics platforms?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ans. ShipEase is an outcome of our collective experience of 2 decades in this Industry. We as an employee started our logistics journey in the year 2012 with an emerging company called Delhivery and witnessed the expansion phase of logistics and digital commerce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have inherited our 2 decades of learning in building ShipEase from end user perspective and followed the mantras \u201cSimplicity is ultimate sophistication\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Pawan Kumar, co-founder & CEO of ShipEase<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our primary goal in ShipEase is to reinvent the SaaS and make the tool user friendly and hassle free to the extent it should be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So far it has worked for us well and gives us an edge over competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q.2. ShipEase wants to give SMEs access to enterprise-level shipping experiences. How can you effectively serve both big firms and small businesses?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ans. So I look at this from a different point of view, when I sit with my product designers, I don\u2019t separate my audience based on daily\/weekly\/monthly numbers. I just want a simple and easy to use technology tool for my all client base.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We used to get a lot of inputs from our clients while being on field visits across the nation and try to accommodate the refined versions of these requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q. 3. ShipEase has made substantial investments in creating cutting-edge logistical solutions. Could you list a few of the main developments and technologies that distinguish ShipEase from other logistics companies?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ans. Logistics is a game of execution rather than differentiation; we all have witnessed the same in logistics how companies have evolved. We work on several pre-emptive measures which can minimize the probable delay which can happen to any consignments. We as a company are primarily targeting the products\/services which help sellers in increasing their additional revenue rather than only focussing on managing their existing chunk of business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q.4. There are many courier providers in India that ShipEase has worked with. How do you keep your service standards consistent while working with various courier partners?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ans. We have built our certain algorithms via which we ensure that the service level of our customers are in-tact. We are primarily working on automation of the service level escalations so that the services can be monitored, breaches can be identified & corrective actions can be taken without much manual intervention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q.5. What are your future plans for the next 5 years?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ans. In the coming years, we will reinvent the SaaS in digital commerce space and working on some fantastic products which will redefine the image of the company from a \u201cLogistics consolidator to The Gateway for Digital commerce\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
