Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, \u201cThe FRONX S-CNG, with its new-age appeal and dynamic road presence, is aimed at customers who are not only trailblazers at heart but also environmentally conscious.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ever since its introduction at this year\u2019s Auto Expo, the FRONX has received an overwhelming response owing to its sporty design language, advanced powertrain, and premium technology.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CNG portfolio<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just as other carmakers are opting for CNG over diesel, Maruti Suzuki completely ditched diesel powertrains in their entirety, with Fronx being the latest vehicle to get the S-CNG treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Srivastava added, \u201cIn 2010, we introduced our first CNG-equipped model, and since then, we have sold more than 1.4 million S-CNG vehicles in the country, which is a true testament to our customers\u2019 trust and faith in our technology.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are confident that the FRONX S-CNG will increase the share of S-CNG cars in our overall sales, and further strengthen our green mobility portfolio, now consisting of 15 models which is the best in the industry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Features<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Feature-wise there is no difference between the CNG and petrol-powered versions except for a reduced boot space to make space for the CNG tank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It <a href=\"https:\/\/www-autocarindia-com.cdn.ampproject.org\/c\/s\/www.autocarindia.com\/car-news-amp\/maruti-suzuki-fronx-cng-launched-at-rs-842-lakh-428725\">has<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>7.0-inch touchscreen with a SmartPlay Pro system and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Steering-mounted controls<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Automatic climate control<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dual airbags&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reverse parking sensors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Powertrain<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ThT Fronx gets multiple versions here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is the uber-efficient CNG powertrain, a 1.2L NA petrol and a 1.0L turbo petrol powertrain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the CNG powertrain the company claims 28.51 km\/kg fuel efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 1.2L 4-cylinder NA petrol engine develops close to 90 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque when run on petrol and 77.5 PS of power and 98.5 Nm of torque when run on CNG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It features a 5-speed manual gearbox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pricing, competition<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prices start <a href=\"https:\/\/www-rushlane-com.cdn.ampproject.org\/c\/s\/www.rushlane.com\/amp\/maruti-suzuki-fronx-cng-launched-starts-from-rs-8-41-lakh-12473914.html\">from <\/a>Rs. 8,41,500 for base Sigma trim and Rs. 9,27,500 for Delta trim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upper-tier Zeta and Alpha trims do not get a CNG version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It competes against the Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG which is the <a href=\"https:\/\/www-autocarindia-com.cdn.ampproject.org\/c\/s\/www.autocarindia.com\/car-news-amp\/maruti-suzuki-fronx-cng-launched-at-rs-842-lakh-428725\">only <\/a>other compact SUV to get a factory-fitted CNG kit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The regular version has rivals such as the Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite and Mahindra XUV300.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Maruti Suzuki has launched the CNG version of the Fronx called the FRONX S-CNG.
