(Can Honda Elevate Challenge Nexon, Creta?)\" class=\"wp-image-1245309\" srcset=\"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Untitled-design-1-2.png 1000w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Untitled-design-1-2-300x140.png 300w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Untitled-design-1-2-768x357.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the media reports, this model shall be called Honda Elevate and it shall make its global <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/auto\/cars\/hondas-new-suv-to-be-called-elevate-grand-vitara-creta-rivals-global-debut-in-june\/articleshow\/99956750.cms?from=mdr\">debut<\/a> on <strong>June 6.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Honda Elevate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only two models &#8211; Amaze and fifth-gen City \u2013 are currently being sold by the Indian arm of the Japanese carmaker. Since the month of March, the models like WR-V, Jazz and fourth-gen City were discontinued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Elevate SUV will be the third volume pillar for Honda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elevate which lock horns with the other mid-size SUV segment players like the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Kia Seltos is expected to be priced between Rs 10.50 lakh and Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Elevate Specifications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When it comes to the design as well as features, the Honda Elevate shall feature an upright front with a bold grille and LED headlamps. There will be LED taillamps.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We can expect 17-inch alloy wheels and an electric sunroof.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inside the cabin, features like a touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, wireless charger and ventilated seats are expected. The SUV will boast an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Honda Elevate might share powertrains with the Honda City. The popular sedan gets a 1.5-litre VTEC DOHC petrol engine, which produces 121PS of maximum power and 145Nm of peak torque. It can be had either with a 6-speed MT or a 7-speed CVT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is also a strong hybrid powertrain option in the sedan. The City e:HEV hybrid comes with a self-charging, two-motor e-CVT system connected to a 1.5-litre Atkinson-Cycle DOHC i-VTEC petrol engine.
