In the footage, a Tata Nexon EV is seen abandoned in the middle of the street with significant damage to the front left quarter while firefighters put out the fire with water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The business claimed that a short circuit resulted from incorrect headlight repair work performed on the aforementioned Nexon EV at an unlicensed workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We understand that this vehicle recently underwent repairs, wherein the left headlamps were replaced at an unlicensed workshop,&#8221; Tata Motors stated in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, it says that over time, this resulted in a short and trapped heat. Due to errors made during the fitting and repair procedures at the unlicensed business, there was an electrical issue in the headlamp area, which resulted in the thermal incident. Only in the repair zone is there a concentration of the afflicted region.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per Tata Motors, \u201cWe remain engaged with the customer to offer all the support needed.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Customers Asked to Get Vehicles Serviced At Authorized Tata Motor Workshops<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To prevent such incidents, the automaker further asked its customers to only have their vehicles serviced or repaired at authorised Tata Motors workshops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But this is not the first instance of a Nexon EV catching fire that has been documented. <a href=\"https:\/\/trak.in\/tags\/business\/2022\/06\/23\/huge-embarrassment-for-tata-motors-tata-nexon-catches-fires-in-mumbai-and-this-is-alarming\/\">Another incident of a Tata Nexon EV catching fire occurred in June of last year in Vasai, Maharashtra<\/a>. Tata Motors announced that it was looking into the incident after it went viral online, and the federal authorities also started an investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Such fire mishaps involving electric two-wheelers have previously occurred frequently, presenting security issues.
