Check Top 10 Automobile Companies India (March, 2023)\" class=\"wp-image-1244546\" srcset=\"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Untitled-design-59-1280x720-1-1024x576.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Untitled-design-59-1280x720-1-300x169.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Untitled-design-59-1280x720-1-768x432.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Untitled-design-59-1280x720-1.jpeg 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>According to their data, Tata Motors has finally overtaken Hyundai to occupy the second spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here&#8217;s how 7 of the biggest automakers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timesnownews.com\/auto\/car-news\/top-7-car-manufacturers-in-march-2023-tata-motors-finally-overtakes-hyundai-for-second-spot-article-99233290\">fared<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Maruti Suzuki<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maruti Suzuki India Ltd remains at the pole position in the Indian automotive industry, having sold 1,37,201 units of passenger vehicles in March 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a year-on-year increase of 15.83 percent, with a jump in total sales by 18,755 units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the same period last year, Maruti Suzuki had sold 1,18,446 units of passenger vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tata Motors<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tata Motors has been hard at work working on improving their lineup and the results speak for themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It has overtaken Hyundai to take the second spot in the sales chart for March 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It sold 46,847 units in March 2023, which is an increase of 9,908 units.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This reflects a growth of 26.82 percent from the same period last year when the company sold 36,939 units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Hyundai<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trailing behind Tata Motors is Hyundai Motor India Ltd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is now at the 3rd spot, having sold 45,703 units of passenger vehicles in March 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is an increase of 1,937 units from March 2022, translating to a&nbsp; 4.42 percent year-on-year increase.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mahindra<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mahindra &amp; Mahindra Ltd comes in at 4th spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It sold 32,196 units of passenger vehicles in March 2023, marking a 34.07 percent year-on-year increase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It saw a total increase in sales of 8,182 units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the same period last year, the company had sold 24,014 units of passenger vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kia Motors India Pvt Ltd sold 21,023 units of passenger vehicles in March 2023, taking up the 5th spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a year-on-year increase of 20.64 percent or 3,597 units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the same period last year the company sold 17,426 units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Toyota<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd sold 15,623 units of passenger vehicles in March 2023, coming in at 6th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a year-on-year growth of 39.55 percent or 4,428 units, as compared to March 2022 when the company sold 11,195 units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Skoda Auto Volkswagen Group<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Skoda Auto Volkswagen Group sold 7,977 units of passenger vehicles in March 2023, representing a year-on-year increase of 8.21 percent or by 607 units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This helped take it to the 7th spot on the table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In March 2022 the company had sold 7,390 units.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) has listed the names of the top car brands in the country in terms of sales figures for the month of March 2023.
