Harley-Davidson has launched its 2023 model line-up in India, along with the 120th Anniversary editions of the Softail and Touring models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Harley<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Sportster range<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new Sportster range, which includes the Nightster, Nightster Special and Sportster S are priced at Rs 17.49 lakh, Rs 18.29 lakh and Rs 18.79 (ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new range is mechanically identical to the predecessors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sportster S can be purchased in midnight crimson, white sand pearl, mineral green metallic, vivid black and stone-washed white pearl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sportster S Design<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The styling remains unaltered and the 2023 Sportster S continues to feature a distinctive styling that comprises a single-pod headlight, a compact fuel tank, a single-pod instrument cluster, a flat handlebar, a rider-only saddle, a twin-pod exhaust, and fat-profile tyres. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company says that the exhaust is made from corrosion-resistant 304-series stainless steel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the mechanics front, the 2023 Harley-Davidson Sportster S retains the 1,252cc, V-twin, liquid-cooled engine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sportster S Engine<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Linked to a six-speed gearbox, this motor is tuned to deliver a maximum output of 120.6bhp at 7,500rpm and a peak torque of 125Nm at 6,000rpm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The claimed fuel economy from this engine stands at 5.1-litre\/100km (19.60kmpl).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The comprehensive feature list of the 2023 Sportster S comprises full-LED lighting, a Bluetooth-enabled colour TFT display that works with a dedicated smartphone application, a USB charger, and a plethora of rider aids. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These include ABS with a cornering function, lean-sensitive traction control system, cornering drag-torque slip control system, and wheel lift mitigation function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other key mechanical features<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suspension is taken care of by 43mm upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The front forks and rear monoshock are adjustable for compression, rebound, and preload.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The braking tasks are handled <\/a>by a single disc with a four-piston calliper at the front and a single rotor with a single-piston calliper at the back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nightster <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Nightster Special gets a front cowl, a passenger seat and a footrest as standard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This edition comes with a 975cc, V-twin, liquid-cooled engine that generates a maximum power of 88.5bhp at 7,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 95Nm at 5,750 rpm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the manufacturer, the vehicles will provide a mileage of 18 kmpl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coming to the hardware, the motorcycle features a front fork, twin rear springs and single discs on both front and rear wheels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the safety <\/a>front, the range consists of traction control, ABS and multiple riding modes including road, rain, sport, and custom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The basic model is available in two colours \u2013 Vivid black and redline red. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Special model comes in four colours \u2013 Vivid black, black denim, bright billiard blue, and industrial yellow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Vivid Black colour is the most affordable <\/a>option on the list, with an ex-showroom price tag of Rs. 18.79 lakh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, the rest of the colour options retail at a premium of Rs. 14,000 more than the Vivid Black paint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Softail <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Softail range includes the Fat Bob 114 which was previously priced at Rs 20.49 lakh, is now available for Rs 24.49 lakh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, it does not come with an anniversary paint scheme. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still, if the customer demands it, the firm will charge an additional Rs 1.5 lakh for the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Heritage Classic costs Rs 26.59 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interested customers who want a special 120th Anniversary edition colour, have to spend an extra Rs 1.5 lakh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Touring models \u2013 Street Glide Special and Road Glide Special are the costliest of the company\u2019s India line-up<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Touring range<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The American bike makers Touring range comprises two models: Street Glide Special priced at Rs 37.49 lakh and the Road Glide Special which costs Rs 40.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those interested in the Anniversary edition will have to shell out Rs 2.5-3 lakh more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harley-Davidson has also updated its Pan America 1250 Special ADV for the 2023 model year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bike has been priced at Rs 24.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For an additional <\/a>Rs 1 lakh, customers can get their bikes fitted with wire spoke wheels shod with tubeless tyres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
