Google I\/O, the yearly developer\u2019s conference, is taking place on May 10, revealed Sundar Pichai, Google CEO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Venue<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As with last year’s conference, I\/O 2023 will take place in front of a “limited live audience” at the historic Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This edition should be the first in four years with in-person attendance, however it will still be live-streamed on Google\u2019s YouTube and other social media platforms for the public to attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those interested can register themselves online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expectations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last year’s Google I\/O revealed the Google Pixel 7 series’ design, the Google Pixel Watch, and the Google Pixel Tablet which still has not been released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year it is expected to unveil details on the Android 14 Beta which is likely to hit the market in Q3 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Product launch<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further details may also be shared pertaining to the forever-rumored Pixel foldable and tablet and hopefully a new edition of the Pixel Buds Pro that were introduced last I\/O.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chatbots and AI are the big talking point in 2023, and Google might officially launch Bard, the project that is supposed to compete with ChatGPT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Android 14 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tech giant is expected to announce the next generation of the Android operating system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Android 14 is likely to be the highlight of the Google I\/O 2023 event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Post I\/O 2023, the OS will be made available <\/a>for a wide range of devices, including smartphones from major Android OEMs like Samsung, OnePlus, Vivo, Oppo, Realme, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pixel 7a<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to this, the company is also expected to announce an affordable Pixel smartphone dubbed Pixel 7a with Tensor G2 processor, high-resolution camera, higher refresh rate display, and more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The successor of the Pixel 6a is expected to feature a similar design to the flagship Pixel 7 smartphone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like any other Pixel device, it is expected to offer a high-resolution camera system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The high-resolution camera system of the Pixel 7a will be among the best in the price segment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Compared to the Pixel 6a\u2019s 60Hz display, the Pixel 7a is likely to boast of a 90Hz panel with an improved in-display fingerprint sensor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pricing strategy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In India, the Pixel 6a was launched at a price of Rs 43,999 and it is possible that the upcoming Pixel 7a will also come with a similar price tag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shortly after the launch of the Pixel 6a, Google offered the smartphone at a much discounted price to drive sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tech giant could opt for the same strategy for the Pixel 7a as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pixel tablet<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Google is also expected to launch the much-rumored Pixel tablet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some reports also suggest that Google could also tease the Pixel 8 series and its first foldable device, the Pixel Fold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Official launch<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The flagship Pixel phone will go official only later this year, around the time when Apple launches its iPhone 15 series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
