The facelifted Honda City has been viewed in all its glory at one of the authorized dealer outlets in India prior to its official launch on March 2. An online video showcasing the updated midsize sedan from top to bottom in the new City’s top trim level has surfaced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Specifications about the facelifted Honda City:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Honda City in a fresh shade of paint called Obsidian Blue that wasn’t previously available<\/a> on any pre-facelifted models. The new Honda City’s front and rear bumpers have been updated with sportier lower designs, giving the exterior a slight makeover. The front of the refreshed City also receives a mildly modified grille with a honeycomb design that looks sharper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The side profile gets a new design for the 16-inch alloy wheels while keeping the all-LED headlamps and taillamps. The Honda City petrol will now have access to the entire set of ADAS features, which were previously exclusive to the hybrid model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new facelifted Honda City will now be offered in a new base-spec SV variant, in addition to the V, VX, and ZX variants, as opposed to the pre-facelift version. The SV variant, which has fewer features than the previous base-spec V variant, will only be available with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Additionally, the City Hybrid, which was previously only offered in the highest-spec ZX variant, will now also be available in the lower-spec VX variant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only petrol engine options:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 1.5-liter four-cylinder naturally aspirated 121 PS petrol engine and the 1.5-liter 126 PS petrol-hybrid powertrain will both remain options for the redesigned Honda City. Both powertrains have been improved and brought into BS-VI stage-II compliance. The 1.5-liter 100 PS diesel engine that was previously offered has been discontinued and will not be included in this facelifted version. Additionally, these two engines have been updated to be E20 compliant (20% ethanol blend).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The brand-new Hyundai Verna, which is also expected to debut in March 2023, will face off against the Honda City when it is finally released. Other midsize sedans like the Volkswagen Virtus, Skoda Slavia, and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz will also be in competition with the City.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
