The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has confirmed that more than 25000 cases of Starbucks<\/a> chilled coffee have been recalled.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More Than 25000 Cases of Starbucks Chilled Coffee Recalled<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pepsico Inc. has recalled more than 25,000 cases of Starbucks chilled coffee after finding pieces of glass in some of the bottles, according to a notice from the US Food and Drug Administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than 3,000,00,000 bottles of the Starbucks frappuccino vanilla chilled coffee drink have been recalled by the company, following a January 28 start date for the recall. The FDA classified PepsiCo’s action as a Class 2 recall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Class 2 recall means \u201cproduct may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to this category of recalls, the product would have resulted in either short-term or long-term health problems for consumers if it had been allowed to remain on the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Items Not Offered On Sale At Starbucks\u2019 Retail Locations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The notice states that the distribution of Starbucks bottles with expiration dates of March 8th, May 29th, June 4th, and June 10th has been impacted. No injuries have been reported as of yet because of the worry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a formal statement, PepsiCo announced that the Frappuccino products would no longer be sold. It stated, \u201cDelivering a quality experience to our consumers is our top priority and we always act with an abundance of caution whenever a potential concern is raised.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The North American Coffee Partnership, on whose behalf the statement was made, released it. The statement also said that these items are not offered for sale at Starbucks retail locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In collaboration with Starbucks Corporation, PepsiCo sold the beverage that was ready to drink. Additionally, a landline number (1-800-211-8307) was provided for customers to call with any questions or concerns they may have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.1% of Americans Drink Starbucks Coffee Everyday!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to a recent National Coffee Association study, on average, about 3.1 percent of Americans drink Starbucks coffee every day, though the percentage may vary depending on where you live. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although it may not seem like much, 3.1 percent equates to roughly 10 million people who drink Starbucks coffee every day when you consider that there are about 327 million people who live in the United States.
