Check Top USPs, Features Of Maruti Fronx\" class=\"wp-image-1242444\" srcset=\"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Untitled-design-2.png 1000w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Untitled-design-2-300x140.png 300w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Untitled-design-2-768x357.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This is based on the Baleno which has received extensive positive feedback in terms of sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5K booking mark crossed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company has recently announced that it has crossed the 5,500 bookings milestone of its latest offering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The all-new crossover Fronx will be available for sale via the Nexa range of dealerships and will most likely be launched in the April of this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested customers can reserve one for a booking amount of Rs 11,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>New territory<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Fronx crossover is the brand\u2019s take on the less popular hatchback and SUV cross segment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This marks the first time that the Indo-Japanese automaker has produced a crossover SUV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fronx made its debut at the Auto Expo 2023 alongside the coveted SUV Jimny five-door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In terms of its positioning in the carmaker\u2019s lineup, this crossover SUV sits below the top-of-the-line sub-compact SUV Grand Vitara and above the hatchback Baleno and compact SUV Brezza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Shared elements with Grand Vitara<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The all-new Fronx is heavily inspired by its elder sibling, the Grand Vitara, essentially serving as a younger sibling to it.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It gets a similar grille albeit without the chrome garnishes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In its place it has a single broad chrome strip in the center that also holds the Suzuki logo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, due to the squared-off wheel arches, the Fronx seems significantly more powerful and muscular than its hatchback sibling.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It also has significantly more ground clearance than the Baleno and is just overall bigger in dimensions as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The interior looks identical to Maruti Suzuki\u2019s outgoing premium hatchback Baleno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Interior features<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It gets a dual-tone theme and a 9.0-inch free-floating SmartPlay infotainment system that comes with connectivity options including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The interior is clad in faux leather and features a wireless vehicle charger, head-up display, 360 degree rear view camera, automatic air conditioner, reverse parking camera, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Safety<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Coming to safety, the Fronx is offered with ISOFIX mounts for child seats, front, side, and curtain airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, and pedestrian protection compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other features include premium ones such as hill hold assistance, electronic stability program, three-point ELR seat belts, auto-dimming interior rearview mirror, and Suzuki Connect telematics system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new crossover SUV will be offered in five different configurations- Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta, and Alpha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Powertrain&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It comes in two powertrain choices- the 1.2-liter, four-cylinder, normally aspirated petrol engine and the new, three-cylinder, 1.0-liter turbo-petrol Boosterjet engine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The former generates 100 horsepower and 147.6 Nm, and the latter generates 90 horsepower and 113 Nm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both come <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cartoq.com\/maruti-suzuki-fronx-receives-5500-bookings\/\">equipped <\/a>with Maruti\u2019s mild-hybrid technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The NA petrol engine comes with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT transmission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The turbo-petrol engine can be had with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The country\u2019s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki has introduced the all-new crossover Fronx at the Auto Expo 2023.
