A business owner has claimed that a Zomato food delivery agent told him not to pay online the next time he decided to order and chose to give him advice on how to cheat them, alleging egregious fraud by the employees of the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deepinder Goyal, the Founder & CEO of Zomato, took note of the man’s post and stated<\/a>: “Aware of this. Working to plug the loopholes”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the scam at Zomato:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The entrepreneur, Vinay Sati, claimed that he experienced “goosebumps” after learning about the scam going on at Zomato.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr Sati said that he had ordered some burgers from Zomato a few days ago and when the agent showed up, he told him, “Sir, don’t pay online next time.” “he said that next time when you will order food worth 700-800rs through COD (Cash On Delivery) you only have to pay 200rs for that. I will show it to Zomato that you have not taken the food but will also give you the food you ordered,” Mr Sati said in a LinkedIn post quoting the delivery agent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Aap bas mujhe 200rs, 300rs de dena or 1000rs ke khane ke maje lena<\/em> (You just pay me \u20b9 200, 300 and enjoy food worth \u20b9 1,000),” Mr Sati further quoted the agent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The entrepreneur, Mr. Vinay Sati tagged the Founder & CEO of Zomato and  stated in his LinkedIn post, \u201cDeepinder Goyal<\/a> ji, now don’t say that you don’t even know that this is happening? And if even after knowing all this, you are not able to solve it So what are your #IIM<\/a> guys doing? #Shocking<\/a> !\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When faced with this, the entrepreneur claimed that he had two main options. First of all, he could have enjoyed this offer, or else would have exposed this scandal publicly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
