The global online video sharing and social media platform YouTube has finally announced that it will begin the testing of the highly awaited \u2018Add to Queue\u2019 feature on iOS and Android platform for the company\u2019s premium users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The feature will remain under testing mode until January 28 next year, and the premium feature is expected to roll out officially in the following days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, the \u2018Add To Queue\u2019 feature is available and can be used on the Desktop version of YouTube, using which, a user can add the videos they want to watch next on a queue, continuing to add as many videos as they want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using this feature, a user can create their own personalised sort of mini player. The same feature is also available on the YouTube application accessed through a television or TV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, the San Bruno, California-based tech giant is working upon bringing the feature to mobile phones too, i.e. on iOS and Android platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the Add to Queue feature is made accessible<\/a> to the mobile phones, users will be able to add any video to a queue to automatically play after the ongoing video. The list of this queue can be as long as a user wants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, the user will be allowed to remove any video from the list as well as rearrange the order of the queue through a drop down option on the queue. The list\/bar will also provide an option to delete grouped videos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to use the Add to Queue feature on Android or iOS platforms, users will have to head to their profile module present on the top right corner of the YouTube app and then go to the settings menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Click on the \u2018Try new features\u2019 option after landing on the panel, following which only premium subscribers of YouTube will be able to see the \u2018Add to Queue\u2019 feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOnce the feature goes live, three dots will appear next to videos, with a new option \u2018Play Last’ in the queue at the top of the list. As the user selects this option, the user will create a queue at the bottom of the user\u2019s screen,\u201d stated an Economic Times report.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
