Titanium S9 Vs Canvas 4 Vs Auxus Nuclea N1 [Indian Smartphones Comparison]

10

Till date, India has had a healthy market for budget phones. Companies like Micromax, Lava, Karbonn, and even Nokia has made and sold smartphones that don’t stretch most budgets. But the month of July has seen not one, but two Indian companies have launched their most expensive phones yet: the much talked about Micromax Canvas 4 and the Karbonn Titanium S9.

There is yet another phone that has been announced, but yet to reach the consumers – iBerry’s first smartphone to hit the India market: the Auxus Nuclea N1.

We pit all 3 of these Indian Smartphones against each other to see who comes out as the winner – But first lets look at their specifications:

Titanium S9 Vs Canvas 4 Vs Auxus Nuclea N1

Titanium S9 Vs Canvas 4 Vs Auxus Nuclea N1 What is common between the three phones is their OS. They all run on the latest Android Jelly Bean (v4.2) out of the box. The rest of the specifications are pretty high end for the price tag.

Consider this – the screen size is a huge 5.5 inches on the Karbonn Titanium S9, and a respectable 5 inches on the other two. The primary camera is 13 megapixels on all 3 phones and the secondary camera is an unheard-of 8 megapixels on the Auxus Nuclea N1.

The other two also have mega front cameras of 5 megapixels. Phones from Samsung, HTC, Blackberry that cost upwards of Rs 35000 do not have such cameras. And did I mention the Auxus Nuclea N1 is souped up with Full HD? This makes watching videos and browsing photo galleries a pleasure on the 5 inch screen.

When it comes to the battery, the Auxus Nuclea N1 seems to be the most powerful one at 2800 mAh.

The internal memory and expandable memory of Auxus Nuclea N1 are comparable to Karbonn Titanium S9 and Micromax Canvas 4.

Keeping in mind that the product is yet to be released and tested by reviewers, and looking at the specifications alone, the iBerry Auxus Nuclea N1 seems to be the clear winner.

The mysteries surrounding the phone will be revealed when the phone starts shipping from 24th July. Take a look at the specifications reproduced here and make up your own mind.

Note: We have not added tegra powered Xolo T1000 in this comparison, If you are into gaming, you should definitely look at that one as well. It has some great specs as well!

I think XOLO Play T1000 is a phone definitely worth considering if one is looking at the above three. Powered by Nvidia Tegra 3 Quad-core processor, it sure has great performance written all over it.

Good to see a healthly competition in indian market… I personally think that Auxus Nuclei N1 is a clear winner.. But, given that the device is actually a mystery to everyone, there is obviously a risk factor… Another thing I would like to add that the price of Auxus Nuclei is actually an intriductory price and is available only for pre-orders… Once the device starts shipping, the price will be hiked to 18000 according to the reports on ibnlive.com

Internal memory of Nuclea N1 is 4GB not 13 GB. correct it. Also it has got apps on SD feature. so no need to worry too much about 4Gb Internal memory.

MY IBERRY HAS 8GB INBUILT MEMORY. EVERYBODY TALKS ITS ONLY 4GB. it also shows mount external usb storage, why the hell is it? actually it doesn’t support OTG. Will some updation come?

    2. Anagha Chandratrey says

You are correct about that. Hopefully this comparison helps you make that choice before the price is hiked! ;)
