Bank of India has kick started the recruitment project 2012 for the vacancies of Probationary Officers from today. For the total of 1800 vacancies for General Banking Officers, 870 seats are allocated towards General category candidates, 286 seats for Scheduled Caste, 184 seats for Scheduled Tribe and 460 seats for Other Backward Classes.
The general category candidates should be of minimum 21 years to maximum 30 years to be eligible to apply for these vacancies; with relaxation of the upper age limit by 5 years for candidates of SC/ST categories and 3 years for OBC category.
The candidate needs to be graduate with minimu m 60% marks in AGGREGATE from UGC recognized University in terms of education qualification.
The process of submission of online application forms starts from January 19, 2012, and ends on January 31, 2012. The payment of application fee of Rs.200/- needs to be done within the same duration as process of application forms remaining open for submission.
The selection process would include Common Written Examination (C.W.E) conducted by IBPS, consisting of subject wise Objective Test plus Descriptive Test, and a Personal Interview.
