Kobian’s Mercury mTab2 tablet priced at Rs.11999/-

After launching its Mercury mTab in the affordable tablet segment, the computer peripheral company Kobian has now come out with a new lighter version in the form of mTab2, priced at Rs.11999/- in India, which runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.

The refreshed Mercury mTab2 features a 7 inch capacitive multi-touch; and is expected to run faster with a 1 GHz dual-core processor as compared to 1.2 GHz triple-core processor in its earlier version.

Sushmita Das, Country Manager – India , Kobian Pte Ltd said:

"Features like USB, Battery backup and internal storage are vital features for the regular users and mTab2 brings all packed in a lighter version of 365gm this time."

Among other specifications, mTab2 is bundled with in-built storage of 8 GB which is expandable upto 32 GB, full USB 2.0 port, HDMI output, 512 MB DDR3 RAM, integrated speakers and mic, Wi-Fi connectivity and USB 3G dongle.

This affordable-range tablet also features built-in 0.3 Mega Pixel front camera.
