Recently launched grocery and ecommerce app: JioMart has already crossed 1 million download mark.

Meanwhile in terms of daily orders, JioMart has beaten Amazon and Big Basket!

JioMart Beats Amazon, Big Basket In Daily Orders

JioMart, which was officially launched 2-months back, has surprisingly beaten Amazon and Big Basket, in terms of daily orders.

As per the numbers shared by these companies, JioMart is generating 250,000 daily orders, which is more than Amazon’s 150,000 daily orders and Big Basket’s 220,000 daily orders.

Unconfirmed reports say Grofers is processing around 150,000 daily orders.

Note here, that only grocery orders are being compared here, and not the full-fledged ecommerce orders.

During the peak of lockdown in April, Big Bazaar received more than 300,000 orders, from 30 cities.

So, it’s very clear that JioMart has snatched away orders from all the existing grocery delivery apps, and this means that Jio and Reliance are once again disrupting the market.

To be fair to Reliance, they have already integrated customer database of Reliance Fresh and Reliance Retail with JioMart, which gives them an advantage. Besides, all 12,000 physical outlets will be soon integrated with the app, thereby providing it even more leverage.

The app’s pilot launch happened in Thane, Kalyan, and Navi Mumbai, which was then expanded to other cities.

JioMart Android App Crosses 1 Million Download

Although JioMart was launched 2 months ago, but their Android app was just launched 1 week back.

And within a week, JioMart’s Android app has crossed whooping 1 million downloads, which speaks volume about their reach and impact.

We have already reported that JioMart can control 50% of India’s online retail market very soon.

We will keep you updated, as more details come in.
