New Hyundai Santro

The iconic Hyundai Santro is making a comeback this festive season. The all-new Santro will see some nifty upgrades and is being expected to be a modified version of the first i10. It’s still early to anticipate anything with just a few days away from launch. The upcoming Santro model will come with an updated version of the 1.1-litre petrol engine that we last saw on the Santro Xing and also the i10.

Reports say that the car is going to be optional AMT and is going to be priced somewhere starting at around 4 lakhs.

Mahindra XUV 700

Among the much-awaited SUVs, the Mahindra XUV 700 is launching this festive season. Mahindra will be bringing in a G4 Ssangyong Rexton in the country. The car will feature under the XUV 700 badge of Mahindra. The car will be powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine. The system will come mated to an automatic transmission, so its you be a high-end model.

The Mahindra XUV 700 is expected to become the most expensive car in the whole product line of Mahindra. It may start somewhere around 22 lakhs.

Tata Tiago JTP

Tata Motors is working on an all new model called Tiago JTP. The new Tiago version will see an upgrade over the existing model in the budget line of hatchbacks from Tata. The Tata Tiago JTP is expected to become the most affordable hatchback in the country. The car will get the Nexon’s 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine. It has a maximized power of 110 PS with the highest torque of 150 Nm.

The upcoming Tiago JTP will be manufactured with Coimbatore-based Jayem Automotives and is going to start at around Rs 6 lakh.

New Maruti Suzuki Ertiga

Maruti Suzuki is bringing an all-new Ertiga in for the MPV market. A modified Maruti Ertiga is expected to launch in October which. The car will see some upgrades and better equipment. The car will come with a new K15B 1.5-litre petrol engine. The new engine was unveiled with the new Maruti Ciaz.

The new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga will have a larger sized body with safer equipment and is expected to start pricing at around 7 lakhs.

New Ford Figo

The famous Ford Figo is getting a facelift this festive season. A top choice in its segment, the Ford Figo will see some major upgrades in the facelift. The new Ford Figo will see a similar range of updates like the upcoming Aspire. The car will get some updates in the equipment section with a similar face and the same dashboard. The car will come with the same SYNC 3 infotainment system.

The new Ford Figo will get the 1.2-litre petrol engine from the Dragon series, while the diesel engine will remain unchanged.

New Datsun Go

An all new updated version of the Datsun Go is launching this festive season. Datsun Motors is giving it Go a facelift with an all-new refreshed front design with a bolder grille and a newly updated bumper. The upcoming car will see some changes in the interior with some important updates like a full touchscreen infotainment unit and split front seats.

The Datsun Go from Indonesia has a CVT but in India the car will probably not launch with a CVT. The costs are expected to remain in the similar range as well.

New Isuzu MU-X

The Isuzu MU-X will come in a fresh design. The car will get a facelift and soon we will get a see a new design on the MU-X in a more bold look. In India, the Isuzu MU-X yet does put up a mark in the Indian SUV market. The new car is expected to pull in some attention of premium SUV buyers.
