OnePlus 6T Retail Box Leaked: Specs, Design, Price, Launch & More!

As we reported earlier, OnePlus 6T is going to be highly inspired by the newly launched Oppo R17 Pro. As we are getting closer to the 6T launch, more leaks and details are storming out.

The T model of the OnePlus 6 will launch sometime in October in India and globally.

To add to the list of leaks, now the retail box of the upcoming OnePlus 6T got leaked giving away major details. The OnePlus smartphone was already on top of the rumor mill, and the latest 6T retail box leak has spilled the final beans.

OnePlus 6T Design: Water Drop Notch & In-Display Fingerprint Sensor

OnePlus 6T will have a very similar design language as the recently unveiled Oppo R17 Pro. OnePlus has earlier copied Oppo R11 for its T model of OnePlus 5, and the leaked images of the retail box of OnePlus 6T confirms that OnePlus 6T will come with Oppo R17 Pro’s body.

The leaked box gave out how the upcoming OnePlus 6T will look like, and it shows that it will have the same design as Oppo R17 Pro. So again, OnePlus will take an Oppo R device for its T model.

Coming to the design, the upcoming OnePlus flagship will come with a bezel-less edge to edge display with a water-drop notch on top of the display. Surprisingly, it will also come with an in-display fingerprint sensor, a first for any OnePlus device ever.

On the out, OnePlus 6T will come with a glass body finish mixed with metal on the sides.

OnePlus 6T Retail Box: Display & Hardware

OnePlus 6T will have a larger screen space compared to its predecessor OnePlus 6. The smartphone will come with a water-drop notch with a bigger 6.4-inch display. It will have similar FHD+ Corning Gorilla 6 protected display like the Oppo R17 Pro.

On the OnePlus 6T retail box, it reads “Unlock the Speed”, so it’s going to be the Snapdragon 845 chipset again.

In all, the upcoming OnePlus 6T will have a whole different look from the recent OnePlus 6. The OnePlus 6 is now one of the most sold flagships in the world. After selling 1 million handsets worldwide in just a little over three weeks, OnePlus is now of the bestselling flagship companies.

Also, the Chinese company is now the number one premium smartphone brand in India, way ahead of Samsung and Apple.

OnePlus 6T Leaked: Camera, Software & Storage

With an all-new water-drop notch and all-glass body, the upcoming OnePlus 6T is expected to be a blockbuster hit again. With Snapdragon 845, the smartphone will club with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 64GB, 128GB and 256GB of storage.

In terms of optics, the smartphone will probably come with a similar set of specs as OnePlus 6, but its rumored to come with a tri-lens setup on the back.

OnePlus 6T will run Android 9 Pie out of the box with Gorilla Glass 6 protection on the front and back.

OnePlus 6T Launch & Price

A report recently leaked suggests the upcoming phone may be priced around $550 globally. While in India we expect OnePlus 6T to come at a starting price of around Rs 35,000 for the base variant. The high-end 256GB variant may go up to as high as Rs 50,000, though nothing is official yet.

Coming to the launch, OnePlus 6T will launch in the country sometime in October.
