To take on private incumbents, state-run BSNL has repeatedly been experimenting with its plans to attract new customers. Its latest offering includes two short-term plans with unlimited voice calls and data.
As a part of the 72nd Independence celebrations, the company has launched special Freedom Offer – Chhota Pack plans. The newly-launched BSNL plans offer unlimited voice and data benefits.

BSNL Freedom Offer Plans – Enjoy Unlimited Benefits!
The BSNL Freedom plans include two plans worth Rs 9 and Rs 29 respectively. The BSNL Freedom Offer – Chhota Pack plans will be go live across the country for all the BSNL circles from August 10.
BSNL Rs 9 Freedom Offer – Chhota Pack
The BSNL Rs 9 Freedom Offer will come with unlimited voice calls across the country (except Delhi and Mumbai) with 2GB of data. The data will come with FUP speeds of 80 kbps. The BSNL 9 Freedom pack also offers free 100 SMS.
The BSNL 9 Freedom pack has a single day validity, and the special offer will be available from August 10 to August 25.

The BSNL Rs 29 Freedom Offer will come with unlimited voice calls across the country (except Delhi and Mumbai) with 2GB data per day. The data will come with FUP speeds of 80 kbps. The BSNL 29 Freedom pack also comes with free 100 SMS per day.
The BSNL 29 Freedom pack has a 7 day validity, and the special offer will be available from August 10 to August 25.

BSNL Postpaid Plans Now Offer Free 100 SMS Per Day!
In a bid to take on disrupter Reliance Jio and other incumbents, BSNL is trying hard to keep up the competition. The public telecom company has now made a fresh change to its existing postpaid plans by offering free 100 SMS per day. All the plans under Rs 399 will now come bundled with 100 SMS for the validity period.
The other BSNL postpaid plans above Rs 399 will now offer free 100 SMS per day under the new change.
Vodafone Launch 126GB And 98GB Data Plans
Vodafone India currently lost its second spot to Reliance Jio in terms of revenue share. The table is still lead by Bharti Airtel, but Reliance Jio is growing at a tremendous rate. To cope with the challenge from Jio and Airtel, Vodafone has now launched two high-capacity data plans.
Priced at Rs 549 and Rs 799, the new Vodafone plans offer a daily data of 3.5GB and 4.5GB respectively.
Vodafone India is launching both the plans on a pan-India basis, so both the new plans will be available in all Vodafone 4G circles across the country.
Apart from data, both the latest Vodafone plans priced at Rs 549 and Rs 799 offer unlimited calling across India with free 100 SMS per day.
