Nokia X6 Leaked Before Launch

The long-rumoured Nokia X (Nokia X6) is finally launching on May 16, but just a day before the launch, all the specifications and pricing details of the Nokia mid-range flagship has been leaked online. The live images are already out, and the latest leak has now revealed benchmark scores and specifications of the upcoming Nokia device.

The highlighting feature of the upcoming Nokia X6 is its iPhone X-like display with a notch at the top. Nokia X6 will come with an elongated Full HD display in a 19:9 screen aspect ratio. The smartphone has been priced at Yuan 1499, which is around Rs 15,000.

The leaked images show that Nokia X6 will come in white or silver accents on the sides with a designed camera module, power button and volume controls.

Build & Design

Nokia X6 will come with a sturdy unibody built on the out. The smartphone will sport a glass back with a notch in the front and a fingerprint scanner at the back.

Display

The smartphone will come with a 5.8 inch Full HD+ TFT display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels. Nokia X6 has a screen aspect ratio of 19:9 with a notch at the top.

Hardware

Under the hood, the Nokia X6 will come with a Qualcomm octa-core Snapdragon 636 chipset coupled with 4GB or 6GB of RAM, Adreno 509 GPU, X12 LTE and Kyro 260 CPU.

Software

Nokia X6 will run the latest Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. With a stock Android UI, the smartphone will also feature in the first list of smartphones to run Android P.

Storage

The smartphone will come with 32GB or 64GB of onboard storage, which can be further expanded with an external MicroSD card.

Camera

The smartphone will come with two 16 megapixel sensors at the back coupled with a LED flash. Up front, the smartphone will sport a 16-megapixel sensor.

Connectivity

The TENNA listing has revealed that the upcoming Nokia smartphone will come with dual-SIM support, Bluetooth v5.0 and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Battery

Nokia X6 will come with a 3000mAh battery unit with a probable fast-charging support feature.

Variants & Pricing

The smartphone is rumoured to come in three storage of 3GB, 4GB and 6GB RAM. Nokia X6 will start at RMB 1,499, which is approximately Rs 16,000. The smartphone will come in three colour variants of Blue, Black and Silver White.

Xiaomi teased on its social media handle that the company is launching an all-new smartphone in India which will focus on selfies. The Redmi S2 recently launched in China, which is also rumoured to launch in India.

The smartphone may launch in India as Redmi Y2, the successor to previously-launched selfie smartphone Redmi Y1. Redmi S2 in is a selfie-focused smartphone with boats a dual rear camera and an 18:9 widescreen display.

The Redmi Note 5 Replica?

Redmi S2 has a set of specifications very similar to Redmi Note 5, except for a smaller battery and downgraded display. If launched in India, Redmi S2 or the rumoured Redmi Y2 will have the same set of specifications as recently-launched Redmi Note 5.

Redmi S2 features a 5.99-inch HD+ widescreen display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels in an 18:9 screen aspect ratio. The smartphone will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage. There will be another variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The Redmi S2 is backed by a 3080 mAh battery unit and runs Android Oreo out of the box with MIUI 9 on top.

The specifications are very similar to Redmi Note 5, as Redmi S2 also comes with a rear dual camera system consisting of a 12MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor. The rear camera couples with a dual-tone LED flash, Portrait mode and Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS). Up front, the smartphone has a 16MP AI-powered sensor.

The Redmi S2 will probably be renamed in India as Redmi Y2 and is scheduled to launch on June 7. The smartphone is expected to be priced below Rs 10,000.

    Nokia is working very hard but Xiaomi continuously performing better in India. Overall Nokia has really good in quality but can’t chase Xioami phone till the date. Thanks for sharing this information with us.
