Yes, indeed!

Both, Canvas Infinity and Canvas Infinity Pro come in a similar-looking body, and fall under the mid-range category. But the Pro has more to offer in specifications, hardware and imaging sensors.

Let’s take a look and find out whether Canvas Infinity Pro is better, and if it is worth paying an extra Rs. 4000/- for the new version?

Canvas Infinity Pro Vs Canvas Infinity: 5 Key Differences

The new Canvas Infinity Pro has a number of upgraded features, starting from hardware to camera to battery.

Better Hardware

The Canvas Infinity Pro will come with upgraded hardware, and will deliver better performance. The Canvas Infinity came with a quad-core Snapdragon 425 chipset. But the Pro will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 430 chipset. The Pro will also pack in more RAM.

The newer Canvas Infinity Pro will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It is a step up from the Infinity which had 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage.

Dual Front Cameras

The smartphone will come with a Super Pixel feature which will combine multiple images into a single high-resolution image. The selfie-shooter has real-time bokeh effects and smile shot feature.

Improved Rear Camera

So, Is The Canvas Infinity Pro Worth It?

The Canvas Infinity Pro is definitely a better buy than Canvas InfinityBut, when it is compared to other competition in the market, the Infinity Pro lags far behind. Honor 7X offers a 18:9 ratio screen with a better processor and dual cameras at a lesser price. Even the Redmi Note 4 fares better in terms of performance. If camera is the priority, the Mi A1 is a far better alternative.

In a nutshell, the Canvas Infinity Pro does have a few improved features, but there are following potential deal-breakers;

  • It has an underpowered processor in its price bracket.
  • Only HD display is unacceptable at this price.
  • Overall smaller battery

However, if you love taking selfies, want to enjoy a bezel less display and performance is not your priority, you can go right ahead and order the new Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro from Flipkart.
