Preliminary Verdict

The 9i seems to be closer to Honor’s own higher-priced Honor 8 Pro. At Rs. 17,999/- it will go head-to-head against the likes of Mi Max 2, Moto G5S Plus, LG Q6 and Mi A1. On paper, the smartphone has some heavy specs bundled into an affordably priced device.

If it can deliver on performance, it has the potential to give other similarly or higher prices smartphones a run for their money.
