Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Renders Leak–Dual Camera, 6.3-inch Infinity Display & More

After the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 fiasco last year, Samsung has been extra careful in launching a phone globally. The Note series is one of the best in the premium segment and did not expect to see such a blunder. Which is why Samsung made sure Samsung Galaxy S8 is tested thoroughly before launch.

Since Note 8 is expected to be launched very soon, renders and leaks have started pouring in over the internet. Tung Ha from Vietnam has posted a few render leaks of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 that point to the dual camera at the back.

If the above is true, then this is the first time Samsung is going to put the dual camera in its premium smartphone. Samsung Galaxy S8 lacked dual cameras, and now almost every other manufacturer is putting dual lenses at the back because two is better than one.

Expected Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Specifications

  • 6.3-inch 18.5:9 aspect ratio, qHD+ Super AMOLED with Corning Gorilla Glass 5
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64/128GB/256GB internal memory
  • 12MP Dual camera setup with LED flash at the back, one with a wide-angle lens for a larger field of view around
  • 3,300 mAh battery
  • Fingerprint sensor at the back of the camera
  • Bixby artificial personal assistant

The dual camera setup might change when the real product launches but it will be of a similar structure eventually. There will be an infinity display on the phone just like in Galaxy S8, which means more screen estate for smartphone users.

The smartphone will go through rigorous tests before it is launched globally. It will be priced upwards of Rs. 60,000, but the company also has made a mistake in the past and must price this smartphone smartly so that users’ interest is at least piqued.

This flagship phone will take on some giants like Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, LG G6 and HTC U11. The phone is expected to be launched by early Q4 and will be one of the best phones out there, powerful, intelligent, quick and will have the latest TouchWiz firmware.
