Design

With a solid built quality, the device has full metal and glass body with rounded corners and curved edges on both sides.

Display

HTC chose to go with 5.5 inch Quad HD Super LCD display, and the quality of the display is fantastic. It’s sharp, crisp, vibrant and has some excellent viewing angles.

Performance

With Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 835 processor under the hood and backed by 6GB of RAM the device is lightning fast and smooth. The device can run almost everything you throw at it including high-end games and apps. It had no issues whatsoever. Multi-tasking was quick and the RAM management was quite impressive.

Hardware

The U11 in India will come with 128GB of inbuilt storage, which you can further be expanded up to 2TB via an external microSD card. With 6GB of RAM, the device runs buttery smooth. The U11 doesn’t have a headphone jack, but audio output via the USB Type-C port is sensational.

Software

The device will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box with HTC’s personal UI Sense on top. Though the biggest standout feature of the HTC U11 is the latest Edge Sense Technology. Just squeeze your device and you can get straight access to the camera, Google Assistant much more. Though you might find it weird to do, surprisingly it’s intuitive and the feature works extremely well.

Camera

The HTC U11 features the highest DxOMark score Camera of all time, which even outranked the Pixel and Galaxy S8. The rear camera has a 12 MP UltraPixel 3 Sensor with an f/1.7 aperture and optical image stabilization. The camera is impressive, and you will find plenty of detail in each of the shots with proper color reproduction and vibrancy. The front boasts a 16MP shooter which take decent shots.

Battery

Surprisingly, at 3000 mAh, the battery seems to be slightly under-powered. The HTC phones are already known to have battery issues. The company would have done well if they could have added another 500 mAh!
