Samsung Note 7

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 debacle is something known by everyone, but what many people don’t know is that Samsung manufactured some safe devices as well. Although the company’s valuation fell by $26 Billion after the Note 7 recall, it is determined to relaunch the flagship product in India.

According to reports, Samsung is going to relaunch the Galaxy Note 7 on October 7 in India, the same day iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are going to be unveiled here. Samsung Galaxy Note 7s catching fire around the world proved to be a positive for Apple that launched the latest iteration of its iPhone series.

However, this time Samsung has decided to burst any negative perceptions of the public and market the device as completely new and safe smartphone. A global recall of Note 7s was necessary, but it will be more important to instill the feeling of safety in Samsung users now.

Interestingly, Samsung has resumed sales of Galaxy Note 7 in South Korea along with a few screen replacement offers to improve sales. The safe Note 7s around the world have a green battery icon instead of a white one, so you can be assured that you’re using the right phone.

What’s going to be new in the Note 7?

The relaunched Note 7 is going to be pretty much the same, except the battery icon on the screen is going to be green instead of white. Since the Galaxy Note 7’s battery is irreplaceable, existing Note 7 users should be able to get a replacement or a refund on their smartphones.

Samsung is banking highly on the new marketing and advertisements of the Note 7 in India. India is a big market for Samsung, and it must offer some goodies or freebies with the smartphone to lure customers.

It will still be essential to note whether the new batteries in the Note 7 respond similar to the ones of the phones that exploded. We can understand that consumers will be a little hesitant in the beginning to use this massive device, but over the time Samsung might prove that it has learnt a lesson.

October 7 will be a big day for India, with two major product launches that go head-to-head with each other. The situation could turn sour for Samsung as well, but considering the growth of Android in India, the Korean manufacturer might see higher sales in India.
