A Very HAPPY NEW YEAR to all our readers.

As you would expect, we had slow last week as far as news coverage went. Like most of you, we were busy welcoming the new year. But, we have a surprise – Trak.in now has a new look. We are still implementing and polishing things out, but the change came about for 3 main reasons:

Speed, Multi screen viewing and readability.

Hopefully, the new theme does a better job of all of these 3 aspects. Do give us your feedback and suggestions and we will be happy to incorporate them.

Now, we had very few stories published on trak.in last week and here are those.

At a huge glittering event organised at the Reliance Corporate Park, RIL Chairman and Managing Director, Mukesh Ambani, flagged off the Reliance Jio launch ceremony with virtual attendance from all Reliance employees.

2015 is over now, giving way to a fresh start in the form of 2016. However, in the last 12 months, 2015 has left a trail of pretty interesting news events – the moments which moved India and forced us to reflect upon them.

For the first time ever, Indian Railways has tied up with a bank to sell their tickets other than their own platform. ICICI Bank’s website and mobile app have thus become the first non-IRCTC platform which can now book train tickets.

Following the footsteps of Snapdeal, Flipkart has also started to list bikes and cars on its portal. In this initial stage, this service is available only in Bengaluru.

Multi-level marketing company Amway, which had reported revenues of $10 billion last year, has opened their first factory in India. As per reports, they spent Rs 550 crore for creating this factory, which is their 3rd such plant outside US.

Sometimes, our judiciary acts swiftly, and provides judgments which are considered as landmark in our history. Herein we will present before you top 6 landmark judgments of 2015 which can actually have far reaching consequences – both positively and negatively.

To further strengthen consumer’s trust in its Project Leap, Airtel has launched Project Leap website. The website allows the users to actually see how Project Leap is progressing and transforming Airtel’s network in their own locality.

Snapdeal has announced an exclusive offer with Pizza Hut to launch two new pizzas on its website. Also, if you are short on Cowdung cakes (Gobar), feel free to order them from Amazon or eBay!!

LeTV, a global technology company, is planning to enter the indian market on January 5. While we call them smartphones, LeTV calls them Super phones, owing to the excellent features usually unheard of in budget smartphones these days.

In one of the biggest push for Digital India mission, Government has launched 23 new programs aiming to empower Indians with Internet and Technology.

What exactly are people watching online? Which videos generated maximum views? Just like last year, we have a list of the most watched videos in India in 2015. For better sorting, we have divided the list into two categories: Short movies/Serial niche and Songs niche.

    The new UI is for sure better for readability! Offline reading is something that should be also thought of while having a hybrid mobile app, that can support notification service for mobile will be a good to have.

      We have a notification service. Infact, if you go to trak.pushcrew.com – you will get a real-time notification wherever you are, whether it is mobile or Desktop (on Chrome)

      We are also working on a new app, which will offer you offline reading and notifications…

    1. Splash Screen
    2. Add to home screen.
    3. Service worker for offline functionality.
    I really enjoy your content and want to want the reading experience to be even better.

      Yes, Service worker is something we are working on…Should be implemented soon..
