SureWaves Raises Rs. 35 Crore Funding from Canaan Partners, India Innovation Fund & Accel Partners

Bangalore based digital media technology company, SureWaves MediaTech has raised Rs. 35 crore investment from Canaan Partners. Their existing investors India Innovation Fund and Accel Partners also participated in the round reports ET.

SureWaves had raised Rs. 10 crore in their first round of funding from India Innovation Fund and Accel in 2011.

The funds will be utilized to hire talent, strengthen their technology offering and expand their offerings to other emerging and developed countries.

SureWaves was founded by Rajendra Khare, Anant Kansal and Tapan Datta in 2006.

ChargeBee Raises USD 800k from Accel Partners

Chennai based subscription billing startup ChargeBee has raised USD 800k from Accel partners reports YourStory. ChargeBee had previously raised USD 350k from private angel investors in December 2012.

The funds raised will be utilized to push their sales and marketing efforts in international markets.

ChargeBee was founded in 2011 by Krish Subramanian, KP Saravanan, Thiyagarajan T and Rajaraman S.

ChargeBee currently has 500 paying customers spread across 10 countries. They currently have offices in US and Chennai.

PriceBaba Raises Undisclosed Funds from 500 StartupWallah

PriceBaba.com, a search engine that offers prices for mobile phones and gadgets in offline market has raised undisclosed amount of funds from 500 StartupWallah reports TechCircle.

In our conversation with Ankur Agaral, founder and CEO of Pricababa.com, he mentioned that these were additional funds raised in November 2013, to go along with their previous angel funding in order to prepare themselves for larger Series A funding, which they are looking to raise later this year.

Pricebaba has seen significant growth over past 4-5 months – They have grown nearly 800% since August of last year and are now clocking close to million visitors a month.

Pricebaba is currently available in 6 cities including Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon and Bangalore.
