We are just 10 days into the new year and already have few big newsmakers. Lets look at the buzzing stories of last week!

The biggest happening of last week was IPL Auction. Big money, glitz & glamour, celebrities and cricket all rolled into one made IPL Auction something like a reality show. 10 IPL teams were present and purse of over 75 Million dollars was on offer. For some Indian players, it was like a really big Lottery day!

This has been in the news for a while now – Inflation. It has taken a toll of many, the latest victim being the “char ana” or the Indian 25 paise coin. But what is the reason for such high inflation – Is it a case of Supply constraint or Price manipulation by Intermediaries?.

By the way, Inflation is not only an Indian phenomenon – Infact, whole of Asia is under its grips right now !
