India 3rd most powerful nation after U.S and China

With 8 percent of overall Global power, Indian currently stands as the 3rd most powerful nation and fourth most powerful bloc after the in world. U.S leads currently with 22 percent of global power followed by China at 16 percent. Combined European bloc countries also hold 16 percent of Global power. India is followed by Japan, Russia and Brazil with less than five percent each.


Based on the survey model, by 2025 the power of the US, EU, Japan and Russia will decline while that of China, India and Brazil will increase, even though there will be no change in this listing.

Tata DOCOMO launches Co-branded Handset – OneTouch Net, – Pre-Loaded with Yahoo! Services

I think, there has not been a single month this year when Tata Docomo has not announced something significant. Either they have some path-breaking call pricing plans or innovative data usage plans. Now in a first-of-its-kind partnership they have announced the launch of its first co-branded Next-Gen mobile handset, the OneTouch Net Phone from Alcatel.


The feature-rich and ergonomic QWERTY-powered Onetouch Netphone offers one-touch access to Tata DOCOMO’s ‘Dive In’ portal and a suite of Yahoo services. Yahoo services are pre-loaded and directly integrated into the device, enabling consumers to stay connected to the people and things that matter most to them at the click of a button.

The One Touch Net handset Features a QWERTY keyboard, optical joystick, 2-megapixel camera, 80 MB of internal memory, microSD card slot that support up to 8GB card, music player, Bluetooth and FM radio.

The new Tata Docomo-Alcatel One Touch Net phone is priced at Rs. 5500.

Now you can trade on BSE using your mobile phone

Few weeks back, National Stock Exchange (NSE) announced that it will soon support Mobile trading – Following its footsteps, even Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) has now started Mobile Trading. From today onwards, traders can trade on BSE using their mobile phones.

Many brokers like Reliance Money and already offer mobile trading to their customers . Brokers like ICICI securities have their own mobile apps which can be availed on simple GPRS enabled mobile phones.

Smaller broking firms, who do not currently support Mobile trading can offer customers mobile access to BSE’s ‘FASTRADE’ (an online facility) through which they can carry out their trades. Eventually all of the BSE’s 900 broker members are expected to offer mobile trading.
