[Updated] Unfortunately Launch Not successful – ISRO indigenous cryogenic rocket launch Successful

UPDATE: I guess I published the post in too much of a hurry. The Launch was not successful and after 500 seconds of the take-off, the rocket failed. After successful take-off, it lost its way!

Its Sad

India has done it – Fully Made-in-India cryogenic rocket Engine has successfully put an advanced communication satellite, GSAT-4, in orbit. The indigenous soared into skies from its launch pad at Sriharikota at 4.27 p.m today.

This surely is a Golden day for India’s journey into space !

This successful flight has given India a coveted status among the space-faring nations in the world and total self-reliance in all areas of space vehicle launch technology. India has now entered the elite club of 5 nations to achieve this status ! The five countries are United States, Russia, France, Japan and China.

This is the first step – ISRO has some significant announcements up its sleeve as well. In next few weeks we may hear the announcement of India sending man into space. Low cost Space Tourism is another area which ISRO is looking into. We all know about significant role Chandrayaan has played in finding water on moon. ISRO is expected to announce Chandrayaan 2, it’s successor.

Lets say – THREE CHEERS TO SUCCESS OF ISRO’s MISSIONS !!!
