• Very soon mobile users can directly file complaint online to TRAI

    Are complaints to your mobile company going on deaf ears? Worry not – soon TRAI will be launching an online complaint management system where dissatisfied Indian Mobile users can directly file a complaint about their telecom service providers.

    Many of us cannot change our service providers due to our long standing numbers and Number Portability seems to just getting prolonged further and further – In this case, this new service will really be a boon to disgruntled mobile users.

    The online forum will allow any customer to log on to this web-based system, maintained by TRAI, to register complaints, violations or any other grievance against their mobile operator. This independent platform will work on a real-time basis, implying that the operator in question will immediately get the complaint. [source]

    Currently, mobile users who have internet access will be able to avail this facility, but for the rest of them, TRAI is also planning to launch a SMS based complaint system.

    The online platform will go live from April 1st, 2010.

    Do-Not-Call registry to be Scrapped

    In another interesting move, TRAI is also planning to scrap the Do-Not-Call registry, as this service has been a total failure. Most of the users still receive calls from Tele-marketers (ask me, I am really fed up with them) even after registering with the Do-Not-Call registry.

    Instead TRAI plans to setup only Do-Call registry where only the subscribed users who opt-in will get calls. I have doubts of its success as well !

    I am Abdul, My Mobile number is 9994696960, I have given the Complain to 121 & 198 regarding balance deduction in my number last month.

    But till now there is no person to call me to resolve this Issue, [B]Airtel is a Fraud Company[/B], They are Robbing the money with our account..

    What happened to Nodal Officer and Appallete Offer??????????????????????????????

    If you have the Sympathy why you are not calling us and Resolving my Issue.

    I have Given the request to activate DND in another number @ 9894432608 4 months Back, still i am getting unwanted calls and SMS, If i Call CC they are taking the Request now, what you are doing from past 4 Months???????????

    Just having funda in the Office and Relaxing……

    Sir,
    I am using Airtel celluar Commection. By providing some value added service without my request or permission they started deducting my money from my accound balance and my balance accound has become minise balance and I became unable to make out going calls. on interaction with Airtel it was hopeless telling that once deducted amount cannot be refunded. This habbet is seen in other mobile compony also like Aircell and TATA DOCOMO.
    sir, necessary action may be taken to avoid this tye of cheating by the celluar services

    Dear Sir,

    I an holding a cell conection of reliance india mobile smart GSM service No-9835383298 since 2003 .The service to the operator was very good but from last couple of years it is giving us very much trouble as there is no control about it.Now a days it has started a two kind of problem.
    1.Unregistered Sim -In that it is giving very trouble unlimeted.After lodging complaints to customer service the used to said the replaced the sim by paying Rs-100/-.If that is operator service should provide us in free of cost.
    2.Unnecessary deduction of subscription charges for music station- Refer to this operator services has started a new type in there own marketing policy of deducting charges for the musicstation from there subscriber.I am facing this problem from last three months by deducting the amount from the balance on every month in auto debit system though I have not been subscribed.Complaint lodged to the customer several times but no action has been taken so far.I am really been fed up with the marketing policy of this operatar service.

    So Sir its a humble request that please take appropriate action against the service of the operator to stop all this kind of policy immediately and to provide better service.
    Yours earliest action for the above matter will be earniestly soliciate.

    R/sir we are the alone user of mobile no.9026388323 we recharge a topup amounting Rs150 on 26/9/10 today we check the balance Rs 30 wrongly deducted by reliance company company why when we ask from his customer care toll free no 198 he says you have downloaded a song costing Rs 30 we 100% sure that we have not been send any SMS reg.song not press any option and not tell by company at the time of deduction then why amount have been deducted please investigate this matter and reply on my email id no

    I have a prepaid connection 9813040612 from Vodaphone , it is a more than 6 year old connection now day before yesterday we have received a massage that your documents are incomplete so we are stopping your services , when I call to customer care about it asking for any email id where I send the docs they denied for the same . and when I ask nodel officer’s contact No / Email ID they give me a no 9813090002 which is switchoff , kindly help me because I m out of town and I have this no with my Mother in Village She is unable to submit this docs to anywhere , So requesting you kind help me .

    One more thing may I ask the company if they doesn’t have proper document for this no , how this is continuing from last 6or 7 years ????

    I totally agree with your Opinion… Same Exp. of Airtel .
    But dont you think ,it will be better Option if we start gathered Alligation against them….!!!!
    I had purchased An Airtel Friend’z SIM in 2007:

    & on 23rd Aug 2011,
    I come to know after several calls,mails at Airtel. Number of visits at their GAllary,
    “I was told that the Validity of the scheme is Expired & I was charged Rs.1/sms…

    I am still fighting them for resuming the scheme,
    If needed I am planning to go for Consumer Court & inform the same even to TRAI-Parliament, through some Channel, but it will need Combined efforts of all….. & several various features Like Media Exposure etc.

    If all of us gather together only then some thing Strange may Happen, & these Uncontrolled will take their size.

    Lets Start from ourself..!!!

    HI Prashant as per my current knowledge,
    as per meeting of TRAI held in last week (Wed), its agreed upon by the ‘Association of Telecom Companies’ that so as to remain the reliability of customers on the Providers,

    It will be Mandatory to all Companies ,to take Written Permission of the customer, at least in sms Yes/No, before strarting the Value Added Services on the number.

    I m using a RIM CDMA number 9336281282 since last 4 yrs.After coming MNP I want to change my company RIM to AIRCEL.After filling the format of MNP to Aircel RIM reject my request due to contractual obligation. but there is noone contractual obligation. I contact with RIM teleshop, then he press me as RIM customer while I change me CDMA to GSM in same network. I fill all formalities as INP format DL as Id proof and Ration card photo copy also submit and one photo at 10-02-11. But again I recd. a message from RIM in which RIM reject my request due to contractual obligation violation. Noone answer me that what is Conaractual Obligation Violation. while I want to use same network ( CDMA to GSM).Pls.solve my problem as soon as possible. MNP kewal dikhawa hai.RIM apne number ko other network mein port nahi hone de rahe hai.

    Recently i got two massage regarding the activation of my tune service & CRBT on dated 17.02.11 & 18.02.11 & so Rs.11 & Rs.30 has been deducted from balance.
    I call to reliance customer care for refund the deducted amount but they are disagreed.
    This deduction happend without any activation which was made by me.
    So,please take necessary action.

    i must say that airtel will loose its share in the market as well as it will HAVE IMPACT ON CUSTOMERS WHO READ THIS MESSAGE

    hi, i am shailesh patil using tata docomo card since last 1 and half year..But docomo is totally fraud because they deduct my balance even when i havnt activated any service of them.. This happend with me two times..Just fake service given by them..They deduct the balance telling me that i had activated their service but its nt true at all.and also their customer care people didnt listen to my complaint totally and was talking rudly with me….s

    No hearing on wrong deduction of balance & mental harassment caused by RELIANCE COMMUNICATION COMPANY
    Dear Sir,
    My self shrinivas arsola (9907461234), a customer of (SMART GSM, PRE PAID) since last 5 years , now i am facing the problem of deduction of amount from my balance without my concern from last few months. i had talked to customer care executives regarding this but they don’t told me the reason for dwduction.
    1. On 6th of April i had recharged my balance with of sum of 100/-, and on 7th of April 30/-Rs had been deducted from my balance (9907461234) without any reason. i want my deducted amount credited back to my account as soon as possible .and assure no such willful wrong deduction should be made in future.
    2. On 10/04/2011 afternoon again 20/- has been deducted from my balance without my concern.(9907461234)
    3. I am suffering form serious mental harassment by the conduct on company, as on emergency I was unable to contact to the persons I needed because of low balance.
    4. On 13/04/2011 I have received a call form the number (02230326200, 11:15am) from reliance customer care executive, they are blaming me that I had activated “reliance News” and other facilities which I had never did, I am using mobile set “NOKIA 1200” model which is black and white set which does not support any of the features about that company is telling, reliance customer care executives refuses to credit the deducted balance. .
    5. I am severely disappointed by the attitude of the Reliance company representatives towards customers. They had mind set for every illegal deduction they had done, they have to blame customers only.
    6. Sir this is not the matter of only 50/-, but the inconvenience that I suffered after deduction due to low balance that I can not able to do important call.
    7. Now what can I do and where do I go for justice, is customer will be looted every time in this country! Please guide me how can I get justice from consumer forum…

    I am vijay kumar and using reliance GSM of 8882732338.Customer care activates services without any request and IVR response.After contacting to customer they come on missbehaving and deactivate the services without refunding charged balance.On request to forward call to senior officer they put call on hold never farward the call.

    Airtel fraud fraud. I’m using airtel 9952527536. Daily fraud airtel company activating different VAS and taking my balance.
    And also am not able to change my network. Three times tat fraud airtel rejected my port request. I want to change my n/w to idea.
    Many complaints filed in 121 and 198.
    Airtel stupid officers telling like Nokia 1100 mobile using frenzo chat application.
    But i don know how to use gprs in Nokia 1100 black & white mobile. Any one ans me how to use it

    I, tushar joshi, working in as an officer in a govt. Of gujarat. Here at our organization has provide us vodafone’s cug connection. I am using this company’s chargeble internet services since quite long. The charges are 10 paisa/10 kb. In my previous bill(I.E. April 2011) they had charged rs. 449 as an internet charge. When I get the bill I was shocked by the amount they have charged to me. I know my usage and I am quite particularly tracing the data which I use. It is almost max. 700 kb per day. I used the service for 5 days and they have charged me for the 44000kb.I had called their call centre’ executive and ask for the detail of my download. They said that we cant provide the history of downloading. So, the question is why customer pay for the charges if he DID not get the deatail? and more of that they repeatedly saying that what they are saying is right. Without providing the download history how can a customer believe the words of a company?

    the company has given me the deadline to solve the query but they failed to do the same for twice. And I had called them for three times and yet waiting for the reply.

    mene batayi gayi tarikh 18/04/2011 pr 19 Rs. ka recharge usi din karvaya tha. recharge karvane ke baad company ka msg aya k company ki taraf se (IZ-IMAGINE) Rs. 19 ke STV par aapko mila hey 60 din ke liye local pack.

    lakin recharge karane ke 1 mahine baad hi ye seva samapt ho gayi mujhe is recharge per 2 mahine ki jagah sirf 1 mahine ki hi validity di gayi maine is baare me company ke customer care executive or 198 per bhi baat kari lakin es babat mujhe koi satisfied jawab nahi diya gaya.

    so plz aapse requset he k is metter ko jald se jald solve kare

    .Ye complain kare huae mujhe 18 din ho gaye he lekin abhi tak bhi mera matter solve nahi kiga gaya he . idea company ke adhikari surjit singh ka phone jarur aya tha lekin abhi tak meri problem solved nahi ki gayi .vastav me idea ne meri life he badal di . idea ne mujhe pareshan kar ke rakh diya

    I use Reliance CDMA. My mobile no. is 9358618160. I have already sent messages to 1900 for porting my connection. I wanted to opt IDEA connection.But both times my request has not been accepted. When I contacted Reliance Customer Care, they say Papers and documents are missing.
    Please look into the matter and do the needful

    I am Vinay Eshwar. I had problem with Vodafone Company . Earlier i was using Vodafone number 9986990997. With this i was having plan of 199 rs / month, in which i was getting free calls and free sms . I had asked the Vodafone care center to activate Vodafone live on this number n 28th may, 2011 . But they had activated Vodafone Mobile connect on this number. In this plan they told me that i will be getting free usage of 2gb per month with rent of 99rs. As my credit limit was 1000rs. As i am unemployed i set my credit limit.

    I was quite ok on that time as for me it was easy to pay that amount . On 12th June my first bill was generated but it was of 249.00 rs so i had not crossed checked the usage of internet that time. Next month i am getting a bill of 82837 Rs. When i asked the Vodafone Care they replied this is correct. They are telling that if you take this package then your internet will be not comeing in credit limit.

    I told them that i had called for Vodafone Live not for Vodafone Mobile Connect but they had not listened to it.

    I was shocked on this as for a mobile usage it cant b possible. When i crossed check with my bill then i called again for getting enquiry about Vodafone Mobile connect which was activated on my number . Then they replied its a 2G plan in which you will be charged if you are keeping it on with 1p/ sec . I had gone to Vodafone care at Kormangla. There i had complained about this situation but still they are not going to listen and pay any attention to my request. Three times i had visited to Vodafone Care . First time they told that they will cross check . and following visit next week we spoke to manager regarding this bill. He told us that bill is still not generated from technical team (how can bill not be generated even after 3 weeks after my billing cycle).

    Third visit some recovery agent named Radhakrishna , to visit to Vodafone store Dairy circle, Bangalore. There we visited and spoke to person named Yogesh .

    We had few concerns:

    1. When my credit limit is set to thousand how can i get a bill of 82000.

    2. Why didn’t my service disconnected when it crossed my credit limit.

    3. Vodafone has not given any means to check my data usage ( GPRS ).

    4. Why the bill was not shown to me when i asked for it.

    5. Nor the bill was generating online.

    6. Every 5 sec there was a usage of 512 Kb

    7. In 15 days how can i use 10 GB data .

    When we raised these questions , we didn’t get proper response from them .

    They asked us to pay the bill on immediately , when we asked about more details they refused to give. and they house arrested us and was harassing from 6 pm to 12 am and forced us to do payment immediately. We wanted to take a legal opinion but they did not allow us to do so . So in the end we were (harassed ) forced to give post dated cheque of 80,000.00 . You can check the cctv footage .

    But we cancel the cheque (stop payment) as we didn’t get any evidence of the usage . So kindly help us on this issue.

    What are the further steps we can take now.

    Kindly do the needful being an unemployed person its not possible for me to clear such huge amount.

    This is compliant regarding vodafone n my num is 9986444444 this connection i am using 4m past 6 years now suddenly 4 months back they took swap simcard in cunigam road n guy who works thr name called mohammad and manjunath they deleted my database in siyaram n took swap in name of sunil after tat recently 21st sept agin they took swap sim in kamanahali branch without my knowledge then 27th sept agin i brought the my sim back but on 26th 1 day before they sent for porting n now its ringing but no 1 picking n i sure know tat inside som fucker in vodafone doing al this shit n vodafone workers are bastards

    Although ‘DND’ of Mob.9232769884 for TATA INDICOM against call/value

    added service from 03.8.2011,

    after recharge core balance is

    deducted regularly and value added services are going on…

    Nodal officer and others are

    notified seveal times but not

    responding positively till date.

    I recharge of Rs.20/- on 05.10.11.But it is matter of great sorrow that after some time, Rs.14/- are deducted in

    an unknown reason.Apne night

    HI i am very irritated with the IDEA service center (Customer care service) and balance deducation and they don’t have any kind of the way to check the dedicated GPRS balance checking number so they are doing the fraud with customer . As i was called on the 121 /198 also contact with the nodal office but no one are taking the action and also they are not refunding the balance deducted amount.

    Hello Uninor Team,

    I did MNP from Airtel to Uninor (Maharashatra) on Jan 18 2012 with all required formalities duely completed.

    My high concern is, from, day One i’m getting only One network bar of Uninor.

    I made complaints to 121 and 198 several times; but all in no-where.

    I even called and wrote written Emails to Maharashatra Nodal Office on nodalofficer.mah@uninor.in; but no one is helping.

    My office colleagues/clients friends/relatives are unable to connect me.

    In my office premises I get Zero or only One network bar.

    I’m highly frustrated with this network coverage.

    Pls help. My mobile number is 9730600838.

    Sir, My mobaile is 9614759398 on aircel network. I have massage for power play two days rs10. When i enter that webside 10 rupee deduct from mainbalance and massage it will be auto renual after days. This game was not possible from my mobile. Next dayrs i call 198 and 121 for deactivation, they said it will be deactivated whith in 4 hours. Next day a massage came r10 has been deducted for power play renual. I call to 198 they said balance was dudected for powar play. l again request to him unsubcrib power play. He told me it will be unsubscrib but balance was not refundable. After one days again deducted balanbce rs10. Again call198 they said power play has been stopt but balance was not refundable. So i request to you return unplay game accunt balanace as soon as early possible

    i hv call’d customer Care
    but they are saying the problem is all geting to solve
    n they are also not giving me complaint no.

    i hv complaint many times but still no action is taken by them
    what to do…

    i am using airtel connection since from launching at manvi (karnataka state) , from last 4 to 5 months airtel people are unwantedly reducing amount from our prepaid account without any facility used from their services, i did not give any permission to activate any service from them eventhough they are deducting money from our account. even we interacted with them but did responed to that .

    on 27.03.2012 I had received a message from MTS on my mobile no. 7877001295 that on recharge of Rs. 348 I will get data usages of 4.5 GB on my data card no 81049569526 with this messages on 27.03.12 I contacted MTS franchisee in Vidyadhar Nagar to get a confirmation I was advised to get it recharged on 28.03.2012 between 11 am to 5 pm from anywhere to get 4.5 GB data usages.On the same day I deposited Rs. 350/-with the franchisee and asked him to recharged my no 8104956926 on 28.03.2012. my MDN was recharged but I got only 512 mb data, then I contacted the Franchisee on the same day and he told me that this promotional data will be credited within 24 hours of recharge but it not happened. on 30.03.2012 at around 8 am I contacted on customer care no. 9667955955 at that time I was told that the data will be credited within 48 hours of recharge but again it not happened again I contacted on the same numbers at around 6.30 pm on 30.03.2012 at that time I was told that data will be credited with 72 hours of recharge that means everybody was getting it extended by 24 hours finally I told to lodge a complaint and a complaint no. MAR/60401 was given and told me that in next 14 working hours my complaint will be resolved. On 31.03.2012 I received a call that this promotional credited can not be given to me because it was not recharged from service camp and after a few seconds I got a message that your complaint no. MAR/60401 is closed. Now my complaint is that everybody who had attended the calls (I Have recording of all the calls) has never told me that because you have not recharged from service camp you can not get promotional balance.how to lodge a complaint against MTS to TRAI? If anyone can help me on this issue please guide me.

    I have an aircell connection. Despite making several complaints to aircel, I still keep getting calls from aircell Nos 1400010072, 1400090070, etc. In day i get seven or eight calls from these numbers advertising for dowlodaing songs etc. Will the agency take action to stop this nuisance as it keeps disturbuing at all times of the day and night. despite complaining to AIR CEL no action has been taken by them for the past three months.

    mujhe 348 ke recharge main 4.5 gb net data dene ki baat hui thi magar mts ne nahi diya mera data card no.
