Do You need a Social Media Suicide?

There are occasions when you’re fed up of living alone, doing your own things and living in a confined society. But then there are those occasions too when you’re fed up of your public life- No, I’m not talking about celebrities here. Times are gone when only celebrities faced the problem of too much of exposure, thanks to social media world which has now made every FB/Twitter user a celebrity on net. At times we are happy of our publicity and our social life, but its addiction can cause serious personal damage. Offices are already concerned about growing facebook/social n/w use during working hours. So if one is frustrated enough, is there a solution for this?
Yes, there is. Go to: http://suicidemachine.org/ which allows you to commit suicide from all famous Social networks like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and MySpace and that too in a heroic way. Earlier Facebook blocked “Web 2.0 Suicide Machine” from accessing it’s users’ account and insisted everyone to use it’s ‘settings’ page to get completely removed from Facebook.
What do you think of this? Why people may choose to use such websites to ‘commit’ suicide, when there are direct ways to get your account deactivated? Is it just the hype which attracts people or is it just another way of saying ‘I’m a Celebrity’ ;)?
Doordarshan DTH to provide 200 Channels for Free*

Don’t get excited enough reading this, didn’t you see the asterisk ;)? But yes, Doordarshan is indeed going to provide 200 free Channels on its DTH by this year end [Check this out]. Now the question (the big question) you all have in mind is- Will I be getting my favorite Channels too? Well, that’s not yet decided.
I was a bit skeptic after reading the news, there are currently only 59 Free-to-home (FTH) channels available on DD Direct and reading out to what the CEO of StarIndia said it becomes clear that DD is not going to get paid channels that easily. DD is confident because of usual Govt support, but how they will get 200 Channels, still remains unanswered.
That means if there are not any paid channels in line, what is DD trying to do? Get in some new Channels? Govt. can provide spectrum to only those new channels which agree to broadcast it for free on DD Direct? Can it be possible? Or this news will remain a news for next 3 months and will fade away as usual :)?
